Pier One

I’m always shopping at Pier one for any occasion, and recently purchased 4 more apple red stitched placemats to add to the 6 I had purchased last year for a Valentines dinner I was hosting. While at the store I happen to pick up a cute bottomless wine glass for my husband that said «Age gets better with wine»…placed in the dishwasher and most of the writing came off the glass. Went to exchange it, and told the sales clerk that I did put it in the dishwasher. Didn’t know. The manager said she would do it this one time as if I was stealing something from the store… hello, on the bottom the the glass is a sticker in small print that says «hand washing recommended» not that it is required, so don’t give me an attitude as if Im in the wrong 100%. Really!!! Suggestion: Next time how about, yes, I’ll be more than happy to exchange it for you, not the attitude of I’ll only do it this one time… smdh.
