Sock Panda

OK, Sock Panda. I REALLY, REALLY wanted this to work out. I had such high hopes.
I signed up for a 2 pairs per month subscription on Nov 29, 2014. I did not receive any socks until mid-​January sometime after phoning to complain about not having received any. On April 27^th after no further socks had arrived in the mail, I requested to cancel my subscription and be refunded for 5 months of payments. The customer service was great, they were apologetic and did process my refund immediately (this is the only reason they received a 2^nd star). They even offered to send me 2 pairs of socks for free. Unfortunately they sent me the same 2 pairs of socks I had already received… Then in July I got an email from them thanking me for my subscription and informing me that payment would be due July 30^th! I had not re-​subscribed… So I emailed them and asked that they cancel and remove me from their contact list. Again they were prompt, apologetic and pleasant. I want this service to be better. It’s a great concept but they seem to have a few administrative bugs to work out. Good luck!

While attending Fiesta Hermosa (09-​02-​2013) I came across a very cool little stand called ‘Sock Panda.’ You might be asking yourself what is the heck is a Sock Panda? Well lucky for you I am about to answer that question for you.
Sock Panda is a new local Venice Beach based business that attends local street fairs and sells their product which is socks!!! Sock Panda sells two types of socks ‘Cool’ & ‘Bold.’ The ‘Cool’ socks are multi colored designs on sock and the ‘Bold’ are exactly as the name sounds ‘Bold.’ I am more of ‘Bold’ type of guy. If I am not wearing flops I am wearing my chucks and if I am wearing my chucks I like mixing up my sock collection with ‘Bold’ flavors and I found an amazing pair at Sock Panda to add to my collection.
Sock Panda is basically getting the word out with their street fair stands to promote their online business. Sock Panda acts almost like Netflix for socks. You can go onto Sock Pandas website and sign up for their monthly subscription which is $ 11 dollars a month including shipping. Each month based on how you signed up ‘Male’ or ‘Female’ with the option of ‘Cool’ or ‘Bold’ and for your $ 11 dollars a month you are mailed a new pair of socks each and every month. You can cancel at any time.
If you are looking for a unique gift to give to someone ‘Sock Panda’ might be right up your alley. I really dug the various flavors that ‘Sock Panda’ offers. ‘Sock Panda’ gets ‘Cool’ & ‘Bold’ flavors from all types of markets and sends them directly to you. I wore my socks for the first time last night (09-​05-​2013) after washing them (no bleeding of colors) and they were extremely comfortable.
I spoke with the employee working the stand at Fiesta Hermosa and asked them if there was any history regarding the name and if any of the money actually went back to helping Pandas? The employee told me not currently but plans have been set forth to establish a fund for the preservation of Pandas which I think it pretty darn cool. So by purchasing these socks by signing up for the monthly subscription service you will not only look Cool=) you will also be helping a good cause=)
I am pretty stoked I came across Sock Panda and look forward to seeing what new flavors come in the mail=)
