Jeff Wimmer, the owner of Studiocycles was selling Johnny G, the creator of Spinning, parts, when Johnny was building bikes in his garage in the late 80’s.Since then, Jeff developed a comprehensive care, repair and maintanance program, that set the early standards in the fitness industry, which has since been published in the form of 6 different volumes of technical manuals, sold and used by the biggest names in thebiz. SC has built, tuned, installed and refurbished tens of thousands of indoor group cycles. Studiocycles is the only destination of its kind for indoor cycling specific needs. Jeff Wimmer a former professional cyclist, spent the better part of 20 years in the bicycle industry as a mechanic, manager and in sales. He built and repaired thousands of bicycles and exercise bikes before meeting the creator of Spinning and transitioning in the indoor cycling arena. Jeff discovered early on that most commercial indoor cycles are buillt with an emphysis on the speed of the assembly, rather than optimal performance. Jeff started StudioCycles, as a technician and consultant, later creating an in depth maintenance program. He has written 6 technical manuals, many of which as used and sold by the biggest companies in the industry. Studiocycles is the only company in the world with a professional in depth approach to building of new bikes and refurbished of used bikes.
