Custom fitting: surfer given dimensions or a session with a former professional analyzing surfing abilities to suit the surfers demands in a board. Our former professional certified surfers also do private and group lessons. Many of the top rated California surfers have been coached by Swartzworx founder Justin Swartz. History

Established in 2006.

Swartzworx was created by Venice beaches own Justin Swartz, a former professional surfer and now sought after surfboard shaper. Swartzworx has been serving the surf community of Venice with with surfboard repairs, surfboards, custom fitting and surf lessons/​coaching for the past decade. Swartzworx focuses on the community to bring surfers together by gathering the next generation and surfers alike to enjoy the surfing lifestyle. Continuing to bring an elite level of coaches, surfboard production and all other surf related services in the most convenient and affordable way to keep surfers in the water with stoke!

Business Owner

Former professional surfer justin Swartz was born at home in Venice Beach and traveled competing on the ASP (now WSL) World Qualifying Series (WQS). Justin competed in his first competition age 10 and was among the top of his peers as junior graduating into the pro ranks with podium finishes around the globe for over a decade. While in the middle of a professional career Justin was giving back by coaching the top kids, some school teams in the area, and numerous surf camps. After Justin’s first contest he began hanging at the local surf shops and factories sweeping up his way into pro rider, managers, repairing about 80% of boards in the area, to now shaping boards for many surfers in the area. 2000 – 2010 while traveling and competing Justin fine tuned his equipment with some of the best surfboards shapers around the world. Justin has been focusing very much needed repair team and shaping the right boards for the surfers and condition. Justin has created a life for his passion of surfing.
