Celebration last weekend.

This is the second time that we worked with Shawn for one of our parties and we had such a blast! He arrived right on time, got everything set up and tested, and was nothing but friendly and courteous. He played all the right music and even took a bunch of requests at the end of the night. We needed a DJ for my daughter’s Sweet 16 party and contacted Absolute Entertainment. Shawn was fantastic. I spoke with him via both phone and email on several occasions and found him to be very organized and wanting to tailor the experience to everything that we wanted. We could not have been happier. Shawn made sure that all of my daughter’s music requests were met and he will gladly tailor the experience to meet your needs. He played the perfect mix to keep 45+ teenagers on their feet all night!
I would highly recommend Shawn and would definitely use him again.

Let me start out by saying that my wife and I are really glad we hired Shawn for our wedding. I mean he was on top of things from the minute we first met with him.
Shawn asked all the right questions and really tried to tailor his stuff to what we liked or didn’t like. He really wants to work with you to have everything come together the way you envision it. He will want to meet with you 2 or 3 times just to get a sense of what you want to do and how it can be done.
We felt really comfortable with the fact that he had a suggested schedule of events the day of the wedding (which we went over in detail prior to the event) and he made sure to coordinate with some of the other vendors to make sure everything was on schedule and went according to plan.
If I had to do it again, or need to plan some other big event in the Ventura County area and need a DJ, I will definitely go to Shawn first. Highly recommend him, you won’t regret it!

I would highly recommend shawn to anyone in need of a dj! He was really easy to work with, responsive, and accommodating. He even went to the wedding venue ahead of time to figure out how he would set up. He ended up doing an outdoor and indoor setup for the ceremony and then for dancing. Everyone had a great time!!! We really appreciated everything he did and are so thankful everything was perfect for our wedding day!

I belong to an organization that holds a NYE dance every year. The past two years we have used Absolute Entertainment and it has been a huge hit! I am part of the entertainment committee and I had so many people come up to me at the end of both dances and tell me what a great job Shawn did. He keeps the flow of the evening going with great music that everyone can enjoy. He has a huge selection of music that appeals to everyone. His lighting set up is great as well. It turned an otherwise bland room into a nightclub experience. I would highly recommend Absolute entertainment. We plan on continuing to have Shawn play for us for many years to come!

I worked as a coordinator on a wedding where Shawn was a DJ in Nov 2013. He was absolutely delight to work with! Always professional, super friendly, and prompt with the responses. He rocked the crowd (mix of people from 20’s to 50’s) all night long. He has a great voice for MCing as well. I will definitely work with him again!
