Sailing yacht Morning Star is a 72ft schooner offering half-​day, full-​day, and multi-​day charters departing from Ventura, California. Experience luxury and adventure while exploring the waters of the remarkable Channel Islands National Park where encounters with whales, dolphins, seals and sea lions are common. All charters include licensed captain and crew and guests are welcome to assist in sailing the vessel, enjoy surfing and snorkeling near the islands or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Morning Star is also available for overnight stays while dockside at Ventura Harbor Village.

History

Established in 2001.

S/​Y Morning Star is a 72′ ferro cement schooner custom built in southern California and first launched in 2000. In 2001 Adventure Sailing Charters opened for business bringing the experience of luxury and adventure to sailing in Ventura County. In 2014 the business changed hands and the new owners are dedicated to continuing a tradition of fun, education and relaxation for their charter guests. Come sail away with us!
