I killed some time here drinking a macchiato and eating quiche which waiting for my hubs to finish a half marathon. Both items were excellent. It’s a fun, spacious coffee shop with nice gift items for sale as well. If I’m ever in the area, I would definitely go back.

My fiancé originally wanted to come here because he found out that they sell one of his favorite chocolate bars — Seattle something. I wanted the coffee. So we compromised and got both! They have quite the selection of coffees to choose from. I’m a sucker for anything toffee, so I ordered a blended mocha-toffee. OMG — it’s way good! Great atmosphere, easy to get to, and excellent prices. A large blended coffee was four bucks I think, so it’s better and cheaper than Starbucks! Score! The only thing I don’t like — they have odd hours. I think the latest they are open is five in the evening, but that’s not enough to make it a four-star rating. If I lived here, then yes, but I don’t, so five stars it is!

My neighborhood coffee shop that I love. I can stop on my way to work and get in and out in a matter of minutes or I can walk several blocks from my house, grab coffee and walk back home. Great coffee and great staff.

I live in walking distance of this coffee shop and it is very nice to have close to home. The coffee is pretty good and the staff is always very friendly plus their jalapeño bagels are sooooo good. The only reason I am giving them 3 stars is mostly because of the hours. They are open early for all the people who want coffee in the morning(which I get it, that is most people) but I know I am not alone when need a little caffeine in the afternoon… most days I think they close around noon or 1pm. Which is unfortunate for me. With the hours of operation aside, I notice that some of their drinks are a little too sweet and lack the caffeine strength without getting an extra shot, but that is my personal preference. I will continue to go there for convenience,(and jalapeño bagels) but I would love to get a cup of joe when I occasionally get home early in the afternoon!

On our way down from Ojai, we were unable to find coffee with soy. So we rerouted a bit off the 33. We were glad we did. We enjoyed 2 decaf coffees with soy milk. They also had almond milk. Cute coffee house. I don’t want to take away a star, but wanted to mention, they use styrofoam cups.

Great little coffee shop, a little pricey but in this case you pay for what you get. The women who work there are so sweet and remember my drink and I sometimes toggle from a hot to a cold white mocha and dependent upon the weather they always make sure to verify precisely what I am in the mood for. They are also very friendly to my two young sons and accommodate any need they may have. They always make sure to ask my 1 and a half year old for a high five(which he is stoked about) on our way out… This coffee shop helps make my day better each time I stop by(:

The coffee was pretty good and I’m a coffee snob. The gift shop is really cute. The employees were ok, not very friendly. But everything else was perfect.

Great iced coffee. Seriously, I love the iced coffee. Unfortunately that’s the only beverage I’ve had here. Sandwiches are pretty darn good too. My mom fell in love with the place and had to buy a bunch of trinkets. She also got the quiche, which was also good! I’m fortunate enough to live walking distance to this place. Hard to make coffee at home now!

Great coffee shop to get my morning drinks before work. Lunch sandwiches are really good too, I feel bad for the ladies who have to take my random create my own sandwich order. They do a great job!

I seriously LOVE their caramel macchiato. They have pretty much ruined Starbucks for me. LOL The lemon scones are amazing and the quiche as well. Friendly staff and lots of fun boutique items to browse.

Always excellent service… to the point where they’re getting my coffee(with a few ice cubes on top) ready as I walk in the door. Items are reasonably priced, the shop is always clean, condiments and accessories stocked and the staff is always friendly. Please don’t forget the coffee mug next to the register is a TIPJAR… far too often I witness cheap snooties pretend to ignore it. I also noticed that the credit card receipt doesn’t have a gratuity line — please don’t use that as a crappy excuse to snub the servers. Speaking of tips: buy a Djangos coffee card… pay for 10, get the 11th free. Every time you visit, they just punch out a star on your card. When all the stars are punched, put your name and number on the back and drop it in the big jar at the end of the counter where you accessorize your drink… you could win something(I think it’s another card… beats the hell outta me: they NEVER draw mine… LOL!)!

I love this little place. It’s a gift shop and a coffee shop and a place to get delicious salads and sandwiches. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit because there is usually only or two people working the register and making the food, but they’re worth the wait if you have the time. They will customize any order for you. If you want a salad but you want to add something to it, like avocados, just ask. Their menu is small, some sandwiches, some salads. They do have some breakfast sandwiches with egg also. They have little specialty things like brownies or cookies or such too. I love their little gift shop, and their drinks are all yummy! It’s nice to see a place like this on the avenue in Ventura… makes me happy because it’s so close to my work I can go there and get whatever I need!

Great local coffee shop with nice friendly service! The sandwiches are soooo tasty and fresh and different! They have very unique spreads and the focaccia bread is so soft, not sure if they bake them in house. I’m so glad they seem to be steadily busy every time I come in for lunch. No risk and nothing but gain by trying this place out!
