I was pleased to find female employees working in this store who knew about games! They gave helpful advice to other customers and were able to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Not too busy — I was in and out pretty quickly. The whole process was painless and convenient. I’d shop here again.

I went to the Gamestop at 4020 East Main street in Ventura and bought a pre-owned Xbox on a Sunday. I went to return it on the following Sunday because my kids are too young for it. I was told by the Assistant Manager, Hailey, that I was 1 day late bringing it back. After she told me that I could not return it, and advising me to talk to the manager the following day, I left. I went out to the car and looked closer at My receipt and realized that it was only about 1PM so I was actually on time. I bought it at 1:08 the previous Sunday. I went back in but the Assistant Manager was in the back, so I asked another employee if I could talk to her. He went in the back and came back and said there was nothing she could do and she already explained to me that I had to talk to the Manager. After saying again that I wanted to talk to her, he said I had to leave and if I didn’t he was going to call someone. This went on for some time. Eventually the Assistant Manager came back out and I explained that I was there before 1:08, so I was actually on time. She then said that they count the whole day that you buy it. I bought it at 1:08PM on Sunday, but they counted it starting from midnight, instead of 1:08PM which would make sense. After trying to explain to her that if the time is counted from the time I bought it it has not been seven days, I left. The next day I talked to the manager and he agreed to let me return it. The manager, Adam, was very helpful as was the employee at the store on Telephone rd where I ended up returning it. The employee’s name is Cassidy. She is great. I do not recommend shopping at the store at 4020 East Main Street. The assistant manager, Hailey, is either unwilling or afraid to make a simple decision in order to treat her customers fairly. Either way, maybe she should not be in that position. If you are going to shop at Gamestop. Go to the one at 4860 Telephone Rd. You will have a much better experience.

Everyone here is super friendly, they’re always well-stocked, and the staff is exceedingly knowledgeable about what they’re providing. I have never had any bad experience in this location, and will personally prefer it over the others. I know they’ll keep up the great work, just as I know I’ll always support and appreciate them.

Always a pleasure to do business with this location. Adam, Jason and the rest are great to deal with. Great selection too.

This is a tiny GameStop and doesn’t really have much. Their used game selection is weak, but the employees are friendly. I usually tend to stay out of the GameStops in malls for this reason. I have bought lots of stuff here, but usually only new stuff.

I don’t know her name, but there’s a girl at this EB that’s super helpful and doesn’t make me feel like a n00b when I ask questions about games both for my kids’ DSi’s as well as some cheap 1st person shooters for our Wii. I was looking to spend $ 10 on the latter and I got it. Though she hadn’t played it, she was able to offer some insight regarding the game based on several factors including the franchise, system, etc. They have used games for low prices and a great return policy. If you don’t like the game(or if your kid can’t read English yet because his teacher speaks only Spanish) you can return them for up to 10 days(I think)
