We went in Looking for an Anniversary Ring to compliment/​match my Antique Platinum & Diamond Wedding Ring plus hoping to get my ring repaired.
Within 10 minutes they had found a PERFECT match for to my ring !!!
Then they not only shared how they would repair my original ring but also showed us where some minor repair was needed we couldn’t even see. They probably saved my ring. All this for a very reasonable $$ Price.
Could not had a more relaxing and enjoyable experience if I Dreamed it.

If you are looking for jewelry that will blow your mind this is the place to go. The service is amazing and they keep the place spotless. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgable it was like I had been in 100xs. They answered every question I had and the prices were fair. The parking was great and it was very easy to find. I would highly recommend to anyone! I will be back.

They have some of the most beautiful jewelry I have seen in the area. The entire store is elegant. Much of what they carry is a bit beyond what I can easily purchase, but absolutely worth saving up for.
The reason I decided to give a review is that I was treated SO well on a day I really needed an extra dose of human kindness. The staff was terrific– especially the daughter of one of the jewelers. Long story short: this is the only place I would go for gorgeous jewelry.

Terrible service. Clearly not worth the time and energy we invested. Salesperson did not order the wedding ring sample we requested and made no effort to make it right. We walked out and won’t be going back. It’s unfortunate to see a designer like Tacori represented so poorly and unprofessionally. I would rate this as zero stars if I could.

Worst experience with Jewelry Couture (JC) ever! I’m not sure if ppl who have awful experience with JC post but I find it baffling that they are rated so high. Went to them in April to look at rings due to the reviews on Unilocal,Greg helped us find a ring that I wanted altered with some sapphires and to pick out a center stone to stay w/​in our budget of 5K. The designer was not there and we live in the Bayarea so we left our 8 sapphires 30 pts to be used in the ring. a few weeks later Greg got back to us and told us that the designer/​Owner name Sehati said it would be better if we had the ring made for the same amount of money. I only wanted to remove some of the diamonds which I felt were to gaudy and add the sapphires. I’m not sure if it was a lack of communications because we never got to speak to the designer everything was related through Greg. I felt our business was placed on the back burner because we did not live in the area, it took from April to the end of June which they kept promising the ring was done. When my fiancé went up there because he had some business to do in the area he stopped by with only a day’s announcement and of course the ring was not done. My fiancé sent me a video with a customer trying on the ring and you could see the sparkle of the center stone clearly and beautifully. My fiancé was not satisfied with the ring so he made changes to the stones, besides the ring was not finished. He wanted bigger stones around the halo and to add two diamonds and cut out the sapphires. Then, my fiancé settled on keeping the sapphires but alternating them with the diamonds. The diamonds were supposed to match the 30 pts sapphires, so it was to be two diamonds and two sapphires on each side, and the halo diamonds were supposed to be brought up to 20 pts to give the illusion of a much bigger ring. We were not particular about those stones being of great quality only the center stone. The center stone was supposed to be a round .70 color G, VS1 and the price came out to be $ 7,900.00. The first problem came with JC wanting to charge an extra $ 800. for setting the sapphires and diamonds on the side in a channel which we refused because we had agreed to the price. Once we finally agreed to everything via looking at blown up cad and photoshop images we agreed and paid the last part of the deposit. We were supposed to get the ring back w/​in two weeks they took four weeks to set the side stones in a channel. So when the ring came back via FedEx I initially like the ring because it was pretty however, it was not the ring that my fiancé paid the extra $ 3,000 for. None of the stones were bigger as far as the halo and the side diamonds were smaller and they swapped out my bigger sapphires to match the smaller diamonds. The inside of the ring was supposed to say 18K and stamped with our initials but it came blank. I didn’t know if it was 14, 18, platinum or silver. On top of all of this I had asked Greg for the appraisal paper work and certificate that they promised us via email, so when we paid the finally payment I again asked him to send me the paperwork which he promised and didn’t and when it came it came with an empty envelope. #WTF, I think they thought they were dealing with idiots. What type of business sends out an $ 8,000 ring with no paperwork included? My Fiancé immediately sent the ring back the same day overnight and demanded his money back. This was the beginning of Sept and of course they refused to give us back our money, stating that it took them a long time and that the reason why they didn’t send any paperwork was that usually they sit down with the customers and go over the appraisal and authenticity of stones. What a crock of shit, JC is in business and sell rings over the internet just like over jewelry stores all over the world, hell even Costco have their paper work of each stones linked online to look at the information of ea stone. Why in world would a client have to physically come into their store to receive that important paperwork that should have been emailed to us in the first place? Even if they didn’t want to give us the paperwork they sure as hell needed to include them once they got paid and sent the ring off. My explanation is that they did not want us to see the value of the stones that they place in the ring, they knew we were taking it to get it appraised. And it would be our word against theirs as to what we actually purchased. It’s a good thing we kept all of the emails and txt msgs and pix and that video from June. The ring from June center and halo looks to be the exact same and you can see the sapphires from the June ring is bigger than the sapphires they replace in the Sept ring. Why on earth would we pay an additional $ 3,000 for 4 diamonds on the side which was supposed to be run of the mill quality? We are still battling with them via PayPal now we are making head way after calling our own credit cards.

Absolutely fabulous experience. Joseph and the staff are very friendly and an wealth of knowledge. Joseph in particular was very welcoming and gracious. We found ‘the ring’ and he spent nearly an hour with us in selecting the right stone.
They even brought out cookies and water.
You would do well to make this your first stop.

If you go there ask for Shah. He is the owner. He is very professional and gives excellent advice. We got our wedding bands here and are so happy with them. If you buy here you get to clean your rings once per quarter for free I believe (not sure if it was per quarter or every 6 months but I remember having been impressed with that service). Shah was also trying to help me find some jewelry for my wedding and I described what I was looking for. A week later he called me up and told me to stop by and check it out. I didn’t end up taking the jewelery but once again I found the service and the fact that he didn’t forget about me oustanding. Very nice and friendly staff. Good selection. We will buy future jewelry here too.

I checked out many different jewelry stores including some in the jewelry district in LA. The staff at Jewelry Couture was top notch and really worked with me and kept my final purchase within the budget I originally walked in with and told them I needed to stay in. I traded in some old jewelry and they also gave me a better deal here than anywhere else for the trade in.
Don helped me and was very informative about the different types of diamonds along with all the information that goes with them (which I only had a slight grasp of prior!!). One thing I really noticed and loved here was that the diamonds were amazing. Don informed me they are very picky about the diamonds they pick and I could immediately see what he was talking about! The quality of diamonds here was far better than any other place I’ve shopped.
So to sum it all up, you get the best price, most information, best trade in and by far the best diamonds here. Ask for Don and you won’t be sorry! I’ll be going here for our entire wedding set and future jewelry without a doubt!

At what point do you review a place that sells something you can find elsewhere? I can buy a mop at Target and CVS and Vons. Do I review CVS or the mop?
I bought my Breitling SuperOcean 44 five years ago from Jewelry Couture. I got a smoking deal. I traded some gold and cash for it. Try that in Beverly Hills. I went in to buy a Rolex Submariner and the guy asked me about my lifestyle. Lifelong surfer, adventurer type of guy. Live mostly outside. On the road.
He suggested the Breitling. We bartered and I walked out with the Breitling, knowing for five thousand bucks I wouldn’t have the same brand cache as the Rolex, but I trusted the dude, and I have not been disappointed. The SuperOcean is the most water-​friendly, rugged watch I’ve ever owned. It out-​performs a Rolex in every physical category. If you’re a waterman, there is no equal. If you’re a bar whore, get the Rolex.
I could have got it somewhere else, obviously. But education is expensive, and thanks to these guys, I got the watch I needed for a fair price. Still wear it everyday. We’ve been around the world together and neither of us has any plans to stop.

We were recommended by a Jewelry Store from the mall across the street today, Sep 18, 2014, at 6:20 PM. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. We were browsing around for 30 minutes, and not a single sales person greeted us. After no one helped us, we finally went up to someone, and told them how displeased we were for not getting an customer service. We were patiently waiting, and it was very sad that no one wanted to take our business. I will never walk into this store again.

My fiancé and I had a great experience at Jewelry Couture. We actually live in Santa Barbara, but when I searched around (on Unilocal!) they seemed to have good reviews and a large selection so we decided to head to Ventura.
Location: Very easy to get to off the 101 and right by the mall. :) There is a large parking lot in the back.
The store: Jewelry Couture is a very large and shiny show room but it doesn’t seem intimidating. They have a large selection of not just engagement rings and wedding bands but also all kinds of jewelry, watches, etc.
Service: We came in with a family diamond we wanted to put in a new setting. Even though the setting sale is a way smaller sale than a full engagement ring + diamond, the staff was very helpful and never made us feel pressured or less important. We found a white gold setting I loved and they set our diamond that day! They also helped us decide between platinum and white gold and gave what I felt was honest advice.
Update: We went back to Jewelry Couture to get the ring resized and appraised, and they were able to do both in the same day. Since we live in Santa Barbara and the official appraiser wasn’t in on Sunday they mailed us the appraisal and it arrived promptly.

My fiancé and I just got engaged a few days ago and I am in love with my ring. He told me how helpful and nice the owner was. We stopped by jewelry couture to get my ring resized and received it the same day. The place is spectacular! It has so many selections. We will definitely be back there to get out wedding bands. :)

I needed to get my ring resized so I called around and most places took a week or more but I did not have that much time since I was just visiting home from out of town. So I called jewelry couture and they answered all my questions about how much and how long it would take since I needed it it before i traveled back up north. I was sold because they said i could have it by sunday since my ring is a simple solitaire gold band.
So. Thursday 4/17!at 10am dropped off my ring and Terri was so helpful and very nice. She measured my ring and took care of everything. Terri told me to come back the same day before closing to pick up the ring. By surprise they called me at 1:30pm. Only a few hours parting with my engagement ring I was so happy. Terri mentioned to the repair people I will be leaving out of town by sunday and newly engaged, thanks to the them they got my ring in and out !! This past Wednesday I glanced down at my engagement ring and my heart sank. It was missing a small accent diamond in the «halo» of stones around my center stone. Once I noticed it — it was all I could see. My fiancé contacted our insurance company who told us to get a written estimate and send it to them and they would cover the cost of the replacement.
On Thursday my honey took the ring to another local jeweler without my knowledge. They gave him a written estimate for $ 63, he left the ring with them, and told him to come back in 10 days. When he told me he had left it with them and I wouldn’t have my ring for 10 days I sent him right back, «Go get my ring back and take it to Jewelry Couture!»
He did and took it straight to Jewelry Couture. They have him a written estimate for $ 43. He explained that we wanted the work done same day and while we waited. They suggested that he bring the ring back the following morning at 11am so it would be the first repair of the day.
At 12:30pm on Friday my fully repaired and freshly cleaned ring was back on my finger. The work is flawless; I can’t even tell which stone was replaced.

When my beloved and I first got engaged it was with a «promise» ring. I wasn’t expecting him to propose with it, we just wanted something to show our intention to one day become engaged and then married. And what girl would say no to some extra sparkle?
So when it came time to buy the real deal I couldn’t be one of those women that gets surprised with an engagement ring. I am a GIA educated gemologist, former Tiffany & Co. employee and have 5 years of eating, breathing, and living jewelry with a passion. And I didn’t want my fiancé to get screwed up the rear by some schmuck trying to make a buck.
Also, the jewelry stores that we’ve dealt with in Santa Barbara are run by clowns.
So we drove down to Ventura in hopes of escaping the circus and found Jewelry Couture.
When we walked in we were assisted by Clif. Let me just say Clif is awesome and deserves a ten star rating; he is a GIA graduate and knows his stuff. Also he is the least pushy jewelry salesperson I’ve ever met. My fiancé and I were deciding between buying a big olé’ diamond or a big olé’ diamond setting with my favorite gemstone, which would end up costing thousands less. Clif didn’t seem to care if we were going to spend $ 1,500 or $ 15,000 dollars. He was cool and helpful regardless of what we decided on.
When it came time to size the ring though, things didn’t quite go as planned due to my freakishly small fingers and I became very unhappy with the repair work that had been done. I don’t know if a non-​jewelry person would have been bothered by it but I was going bonkers. I took this up with management and we were finally able to resolve the issue and a new ring was ordered specifically for my finger. The owner and manager, Sahar and Roger, both worked with us to get the problem fixed. My ring is freaking gorgeous and if you can’t find something you like in this store then you are crazy, they literally have something for every single taste and budget out there.
If you are a high school student looking to buy something for your mom or your girlfriend, they have something for you. If you are a 79-​year-​old billionaire wanting a 10 carat ring for your 25-​year-​old future 4^th wife they have something for you as well.
I’m giving the in-​house jeweler one more chance. Right now I’m having them repair and re-​rhodium the promise ring. If it turns out alright then I will use them again, if not, well, their work is still superior to what was done by the clowns in Santa Barbara so, we’ll see. I will definitely buy more jewelry from here; I feel their prices are fair and their product of higher quality than other stores in the area. They also have convenient layaway and credit plans and they also purchased some of my gold from me, which we used as partial credit towards my diamond wedding band.
