Michael, the owner of Reardon’s, is an earth angel who brought everything together to make my husband’s recent service special beyond anything I ever imagined. He assumed responsibility for every facet and even recommended things I didn’t even think of. Since my husband was a Vietnam vet, he engaged the First Memorial Honors association to do a flag folding/​presentation with taps and eight gun salute at the end of the service. This meant everything since my husband was such a proud vet and would have loved this honor. I wanted to do a slideshow while playing my husband’s iPod playlist during the viewing — there were many technological challenges, but Michael made it all effortlessly work as I hoped. He even suggested some beautiful fishing scenes for the backside of the mass cards since it wasn’t a religious event. He honored my husband without ever knowing him. I will always feel gratitude to Reardon’s for taking charge during this difficult time. I highly recommend Reardon’s — they will provide the care and comfort that is needed after such a devastating loss. Thank you Michael and Reardon’s — you will always hold such a special place in my heart for caring so much when I needed it most.

I setup my pre-​needs last Monday. The chapel is so nice and everyone was very helpful. I thought it would be hard setting up my own arrangements, but it wasn’t because of not being pushed or pulled into doing any it did want. They were so kind and understanding.
I have worked with other funeral homes in the past because of my parents and it was a nightmare. I would recommend Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home.

Michael was wonderful from start to finish for my father’s funeral. He helped msu every step of the way and was so caring. My mother and my family were at ease. The service at the National Cemetery was exactly as he said it would be and we were prepared for the day. I just cannot thank Michael enough for helping us through a difficult time.

I just have to tell you how amazing Michael and the staff at Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home was for me.
My daughter died unexpectedly and I was at a total loss of what to do. Speaking to Michael immediately put my mind at ease. He walked me through everything and answered questions .even questions I didn’t know to ask! Michael is incredibly knowledgeable about what steps need to be taken and what to expect after a death. That knowledge is invaluable to a grieving mother. He was so kind and considerate to me and also my two other daughter’s who immediately loved him and felt certain their sister was going to be taken care of and honored in his care. Every step from cremation to the memorial in their beautiful chapel was made effortless. I was on a very tight budget and he never tried to push expensive services on me. in fact he even negotiated a fee for the pastor he recommended (Rev. Gary Dickie) who was excellent. When I couldn’t find a post memorial reception area, he offered the adjoining rooms at the chapel (saving me several hundred dollars) where we were able to set up a full luncheon for 60 people at a very low cost. In short, he helped make a very painful and complicated process into a beautiful day for my daughter and our entire family. I would have been truly lost without him and I cannot express my gratitude enough in this review. But thank you Michael and thank you Reardon staff!

I know it seems strange to review a funeral home/​cremation service but I felt people should know. This place is outstanding! They care so much about making sure everything is personal and perfect. Michael is so compassionate and understanding. Thank you for helping me with this hard time.
