I took my mom here. He had her pressing as hard as she could on her eye that has glaucoma. It drove her pressures insanely high. She now goes to Jules Stein Eye Institute.

Was a new patient, so arrived early. Waited around for 2 hours to see doctor for about 5 – 8 minutes. Medical assistant did not perform dry eye test so doctor went off for about ½ hour before returning. Did not receive any prescriptions. Did not really help with irritated eyes. Probably will not go back for follow up.
Truthful 1.

This man is the best I could find in Ventura. I may have to go to Cedars. I am not an eye doctor; at least he had answers for a botched operation for me. All I can say is, don’t ever mess with your eyes! When I had cataract replacement with Julianne McCarty, I asked her to put a prescription lens in so I didn’t have to wear contacts any more. She blinded me. Some days I can see clearly, other days it looks like everything is a camera out of focus. When I went back to her to ask about it, she didn’t seem to know what she was talking about — no definitive answer. At least Dr. Lum said to put drops in all the time and take a medication which adds hydration. That still has not worked. I was way better off with my ultra-thin gas-permeable hard lens.(soft lenses are for suckers — they are made to tear so you have to buy new lenses all the time) I had one lens 7 years! I could see signs a mile away down the freeway. Now it is hard to just see my friends 15 feet away!
