We made extensive trips to different flooring companies from Oxnard to Westlake Village. This one and the one in Westlake Village are the only two that made the cut We only used Lumber Liquidators because the other one didn’t have exactly what we needed which happened to be the availability of the best independent installer named Henry Garcia. Also this place gave us the best prices and the salesman Guillermo was excellent.
We couldn’t refuse the service, the prices, and the installer that happened be be there, Henry Garcia. Check it out. Ours was a tricky installation because the thickness had to match the floor height of another hardwood. It all looks perfect now and our entire house is wall to wall beautiful acacia hardwood.

If this was regarding the Ventura store I would give a 5 especially due to Jeremy’s efforts. I gave a 1 because I had to finish my order in the new Santa Barbara store and am unable to move forward with 5 kids living in this remodel. Briana is rude and not knowledgeable on the product. She forgot to follow through on our order and after 3 trips to the store we are stuck on the job and unable to move forward. She and another gentlemen went out of there way to make it more difficult than it needed to be rather then just apologizing. They acted entitled and arrogant. It was so appalling that after 3 order from this company I will never do business again.
You’re better off working with someone who cares about your experience rather than saving a couple dollars.

Jeremy is excellent to work with, super proffessional. We were doing a remodel and everything was being delayed or screwed up, lumber liquidators were the only ones who did everything perfectly. Jeremy was on top of our order every step of the way and it arrived early and they even took back the extra wood we had left over. We love the floor and the price. A+ with a nod to Jeremy who gets 5 stars for great service!

I searched and asked questions for almost 6 months before finally deciding to go with Lumber Liquidators.
Sales people were very helpful and let me know the difference in their warranties, they assured me that the laminate I ended up choosing was best for people who had animals with a chance at «moisture.»
I got, what I thought, were some pretty thick laminate pieces with great barrier built right in.
I had the laminate installed by a guy who usually builds homes and does finishing work, including many laminate floors I’ve personally seen.
After installation I went back to Lumber Liquidators and just needed to buy a few more pieces, including the Bella cleaning kit, they said it would add life to the flooring.
The floors «looked» amazing but I started noticing some of the corners lifting a bit. I could clearly see the particle board under it exposed.
I called the store and was immediately asked if I used one of their installers and I said no. They informed me it must have been done by someone who didn’t know what they were doing and they had probably not done it correctly so moisture was coming from underneath. I live upstairs, there are no pipes and there is no chance of anything coming from under and we bought the thickest moisture barrier that was recommended yet were informed that our laminate flooring warranty was null and void because it was through the fault of the installer that this must have happened.
I had this job completed in March and spent approx $ 1100, including the installation. I now have to get a new floor put in and am just going with a vinyl, which is probably what I should have gone with in the first place!
Like I said, sales people were nice and helpful, but…

Great place to purchase your flooring.
My wife and I went in to look at their flooring. They have a great selection. We did not feel like we were being sold something we didn’t want or need. Their sales people are very knowledgeable and were very helpful in selecting our final product.
I would have given a 5 star rating, but their people loaded a damaged box of flooring in our truck and did not say anything about it. I do have to say that when we called them about it they were willing to replace it without a problem, but just took a week or so to get it. This was not a problem because it was for a room we were not doing now, if it was it would have delayed the job completion date.
They also have an installer list. The first recommendation was a flake, too busy to return calls and even show up to scheduled measurement appointments. The second was top notch (Custom Floors by Jim Jordahl).
Great experience overall.

I was very happy with my transaction with Lumber Liquidators. They had a no-​pressure attitude when we walked in and were more than helpful with the whole purchase.
LL provided a contact for installation. The contractor was at my home on time for the estimate and explained everything clearly.
I signed the contract for the install and set a date. With this being my first hardwood install, I was a little nervous. I felt much better when the materials came into the LL warehouse EARLY :-). I brought the materials home and stored them as directed.
** I hadn’t heard from the installer so finally I wound up calling the installer’s phone number to ask what time to expect them on installation day. The lady I spoke to said between 9−10am. I thought this was a little late to start a job, but I figured they knew what they were doing and hoped they would finish my (less than) 300 sq-​ft job in one day.
Two guys from the installer’s crew arrived about 9:45am and went to work removing the old wood and carpet. They were focused and hard working. The boss joined them around lunchtime and all three continued to press. I was impressed with the pace. The crew left around 5:00pm and the boss stayed to finish.
The actual floor looks good. I do have a couple of issues to share with possible future customers, no matter who your installer is:
1. Be sure to tell them to leave all remaining usable materials. I say this because I bought two 5-​gallon buckets of adhesive @ $ 218ea. Now I look on the website and see that the adhesive covers 160 – 350 sq-​ft. I may have been able to use leftovers for future work.
2, Set a starting time for the job. Ask how long to expect the job to take.
3. Talk to the installer about cleanup (i.e, walls, new floor, surrounding areas).
4. If you have questions, ask! :-)
Overall, I would highly recommend lumber liquidators! Future buyers just need to understand that there are more costs than just the wood (about double in our case). This becomes clear when the salesman explains what you will need.
The reason for 3 stars is I didn’t appreciate having to clean up after the job was done.

I must admit, I was skeptical about buying my hardwood flooring here. The saying, «You get what you pay for,» nagged in the back of my mind. Mixed reviews on the Internet gave me some hesitation.
However, I have to say, I had a great experience buying my flooring here. I researched prices and quality and settled on Brazilian Cherry Hardwood from Lumber Liquidators. I decided to go with my own licensed flooring installation expert rather than the network LL provides. The reviews on their site of actual customers, from Do-​it-​Youselfers to people like me who bought the material and hired out the labor — raved about the Bellawood Brazilian Cherry. I also spoke to my flooring installer who said that their stock has greatly improved and tends to have very little waste. Years ago, LL did not have a great reputation, but nowadays, my flooring pro told me, he would not hesitate to install Bellawood’s product.
Customer service was really great. They Fed-​Exed my bullnose pieces, a salesperson personally drove to my house and exchanged a mistakenly ordered piece AND they sent me a check for the balance that was refunded to me based on the difference for the exchange. On top of that, when a few days later Bellawood had a huge sale, the store manager, I think his name is Jeremy — credited back my card the difference of what I paid vs. the new sale price!
All in all, I could not be more pleased with Lumber Liquidators. Dirt cheap price, fantastic quality and great customer service.
