2nd To None BBQ

Recently used 2^nd to None for catering for our daughters wedding! The food was beyond delicious! Tex & staff were very attentive to all the guests. Would definitely recommend them :)

Bryon was amazing. He worked w me to make a menu for our wedding of 85 guests. He was quick to respond to emails, friendly to work with. And of course he bbqd some amazing food that all my guests loved. If i ever have another large event I would hire 2^nd to none BBQ in a second.

We booked Bryon on a staff retreat for 20 that originally was supposed to go to Big Bear but due to the fire was moved to the beach. He had about a day notice and came through with flying colors. The BBQ was great and everything was cooked fresh on site. I would highly recommend him for any events! Thank you Bryon for working with our tight schedule and hosting a wonderful spread of BBQ on the beach for our staff!

Oh my goodness I can’t even begin to tell you how great this food is! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! We hired 2^nd to None to cater our son’s 3^rd birthday party. I have a 3yo and a 1yo so my hands are already pretty full and really needed a professional. I’m so happy I went with these guys. We order the pulled pork sandwiches with cold slaw and Mac and cheese. Everything tasted soooooooo delicious. All of my guests loved it too and were very interested in hiring them as well. All around they were delicious, professional, and on time! Worth every penny!

These guys were awesome. Bryon and his friend came out to our wedding reception and grilled up some great meat. Everyone love them. The gumbo was great as well. They showed up a few hours before and were super friendly. Even helped serve our other food to our guests. Strongly recommend.

This place was not awe inspiring. Reading some of the reviews heightened my anticipation… I was let down. the food was good but not amazing or great. I will say it was an average Bbq place with average wait staff (very laid back atmosphere though).

Bryon is so nice and easy to work with – we were lucky to book him on rather short notice for serving 65 people.
The menu can be customized and he will work within your budget to put together a nice meal.
The pulled pork is amazing and the bbq chicken is also quite good. His cole slaw is off the charts – he actually cuts up the cabbage on site so that it retains a crunchiness as opposed to being limp like typical cole slaw.
It’s clear that he is passionate about his work and really wants folks to enjoy their food. For example, I asked him to cook a piece of fish that I had bought for some pescatarians and he was asking me about how he should season it and if they’d mind some spice, etc – in short, he’s great and will not disappoint. I am looking forward to working with him again.

Our building management provided us with Xmas snack from this wonderful place 2^nd to none BBQ and I had a pulled PORK samwich and it was the BOMB!
The tater salad is awesome and the mac salad was unbelievable.
Byron was generous and I am a huge supporter of places like this so pleeeeeeeease give them a shot and you will not regret it! You heard it here people!

We used 2^nd to none for my 40^th birthday party and must say it was the best BBQ ribs and tri tip I’ve ever had! Perfect way to kick off the next decade! Highly recommend!

I had 2^nd To None cater my office’s annual picnic. The tri-​tip was amazing… probably the best I have ever had. The service was super easy to set up. Bryon was really great to work with. We will definitely be asking them to cater our events again!

This is the best BBQ I have ever had. And I have worked at smoke house pit BBQ’s before. 2^nd to None is just that. I have been a BBQ conniseur my whole life. I prefer smoking myself. And I thought my recipes were good. But we had a party and my wife wanted me to get caterers. I wanted to cook but decided to try this company. It was amazing! They sprang a bunch of different dishes that were a surprise and the talk of the party. They even showed up WITH a smoker and pit with mesquite. Fantastic chicken and fall off the bone ribs. I gotta get this guys recipe.

I went to an event recently 2^nd to none had catered. Their food is bomb! I love the tri-​tip and pulled pork, but everything was delicious! The ribs, beer brats, and chicken are also some of my favorites. They made homemade potato salad and macaroni salad that compliment the BBQ! And of course they make this unbelievable cobbler dessert with apples and pecans that will make your eyes roll in the back of your head! I can’t wait to see them at another event! I hope they open a restaurant someday!
