Cozy Cattery is a specialty boarding resort just for cats! Owners are able to take relaxing, guilt-​free vacations while their favorite feline companions enjoy their own luxurious vacations!

While you are away, your kitties will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Cozy Cattery including soft music and aromatherapy with NO barking dogs and NO stress of being in a veterinary hospital. In addition, they will be pampered individually with personalized maid service, catered meals, and spaw treatments by request.

Our 3 and 4 leveled log cabins starting at only $ 15/​day provide spacious room for individual-​family cats and multiple-​family cats. Each log cabin is located within a themed playroom including tropical fish tanks, adventurous cat trees, outside bird watching, and warm, electric fireplaces.

We even offer a personalized limo service for the convenience of our clients. Cozy Cattery is the ultimate feline getaway, and your kitty will be sure to leave feeling like royalty!

History

Established in 2010.

Cozy Cattery was bought from the previous owner in February of 2010. We have been privileged to be serving our loyal clients in the Reno/​Sparks area and many surrounding areas ever since then.

Susan C.

Business Owner

Susan Cesarini, Certified Feline Master Groomer, is the owner of Cozy Cattery Boarding Resort & Grooming Spaw, a beautiful resort just for cats!

Susan is the Founder/​Director of Feline Rescue of Northern Nevada, a non-​profit that provides valuable spay/​neuter services to cats in need in our community.

With Susan’s history of community service through her rescue work and handling of boarding resort guests, she has personally handled thousands of cats with varying temperaments safely and in a manner that allows felines in her care to feel as safe and as comfortable as possible.

Susan has served on the City of Reno Animal Services Task Force for improving conditions for homeless cats as well as a nomination for the Red Cross «Real Animal Hero» award, receiving acknowledgements for her commitment and dedication to her community from Senator Harry Reid, Congressman Mark Amodei and Senator Dean Heller.

I’ve boarded my cat here a few times since moving to this area. The service here is friendly and «personalized». My cat is able to have a good-​sized «lodging», much roomier than most boarding locations and the lodging /​care fee is reasonable, especially when compared to «big city» rates. Also, this seems to be a much quieter cat lodging as it is not over-​crowded and their are different room areas the cats can stay in. The staff states the cats get to come out each day to play, if the cat so desires. This is a family-​owned business. My cat does seem calmer when I pick him up than he was at his previous lodging experience in SoCal. Previously, my cat would seem a bit withdrawn and stressed when I picked him up at his SoCal lodging. So, I have recommended this place to other cat owner’s as a lodging option.

The ladies at Cozy Cattery cared for my Entropy for about two months when I first moved into the area and was looking for a rental that would allow me to have a pet. It killed me to be away from Entropy for that long, but I went to visit her a few times during her stay at the Cozy Cattery. They were always so friendly, and assured me the Entropy got lots of loving during the days. The facility is quite large, as are the kennels where the cats reside during their stay. There are two rooms where the cats are allowed to roam on their own for a while during the day; they let each cat have a certain amount of time out of the kennel each day. When it came time to pick her up, the ladies seemed genuinely sad to see Entropy leave. I could tell they really cared about my little girl. If and when we take a vacation, Entropy will be staying with them again.

I boarded my little Tonkinese cat at Cozy Cattery for two weeks this past June. He was very well cared for during his stay. I even got a follow up e-​mail from Susan on his well-​being to the transition of coming home. It was like he had never left home. Cozy Cattery is a great place to board your cat and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Can’t praise Cozy Cattery, the staff was friendly, seemed knowledgable and raved about how cats remain separated at all times. Our cat’s stay was fine but after our visit to the Vet a day later with a very sick cat and a bill over $ 100.00 one must wonder. The Vet’s diagnosis was the situation could have been avoided but this infection happens way to often when boarding cats. «Could have been avoided» so no warm fuzzies for this Cattery.

Susan and the staff at Cozy Cattery are AMAZING. We’ve used them 3 – 4 times over the last couple of years, and nobody cares about cats more than these folks, and the work they do for cats in our community just make them that much more special. I happily recommend them if you’re looking for high-​quality, fair-​priced boarding in the greater Reno/​Sparks area. Your kitties will be part of the family, here.
