Wishy Washy Coin Laundry-Fluff & Fold

The place was dirty smells way over priced and the dryer don’t work. They don’t clean the lint traps you can see it coming out. I’ll never go back. They charge to use bathroom

Now this is the right time to express my disappointments with this establishment. I brought few comforters for laundry. By the time i reached here the person i talked to was disrespectful but i chose to ignore it. Later on, i started with my laundry and after few minutes the machine stopped (some error happened). I don’t know what to do, so I called the attention of the person in charge but he never listened. I have no choice but to fix it by myself. After that experience, I promised myself that i will never go back in that horrible establishment.

If you plan on using the washers nearest to the side with the pick-​up and drop-​off window, washer #10 is off-​limits to the public. There’s no sign but the attendant– told me off– for trying to use that washer. She said I could use any other washer except that one. The other problem is that the washers next to #10 are all «Out of Order» like most of the other washers on all the sides near the dryers. They also have a termite problem that is particularly bad during the summer so, launder with care.
Been coming here for years and the machines are steadily falling apart and I haven’t seen any repairs or improvements made to get them working again. Even though the outside has been renovated the inside is declining downward.

When I think of laundry, I think of clean. This i place is anything but. I keep telling myself I won’t come here again yet here I am. It’s a block from my house so it’s a convenient distance but I always leave this place with a bad experience.
Strike 1: I was folding my bedsheets when a corner of it accidentally touched the floor. It got covered in dirt. I had to wash it again. The floor in this place looks like its seldom swept or mopped. The machines are also dirty. The counters for folding laundry also have bits of dirt and hair all over them. I’ve been to other laundry mats where I’ve been attendants incessantly cleaning floors counters and machines. I’ve never seen anyone cleaning anything here.
Strike 2: This place offers a fluff and fold service. One day I decided to give them a try so I lugged my hamper over and asked the attendant for fluff and fold. She told me she couldn’t because she had too much clothes already for that day (it was mid morning). I told her I didn’t need it until the end of the weekend so I could leave it and get it later. She still refused and sent me on my way.
Strike 3: I came in today and had to drag my kid along. I loaded my clothes and sat down to wait. I was eavesdropping listening to another customer telling the attendant that the other day the machine she used didn’t add enough water to wash her clothes. I looked up at my machine and, bingo, my clothes were spinning in a machine and were practically dry. The attendant refunded my money and I had to wait for the load to «finish» to wash it in another machine. It was great of her refund me but it doesn’t take away from the fact they just wasted my time.
I thought the story ended there but my other load had issues with the machine as well. At the beginning of the cycle the fabric softener went in and then the bleach went in at the end (there are slots for each liquid that the machine drops in at the appropriate time but this machine got it backwards). Needless to say I had to wash this load again also.
I don’t think I’ll be back here. This place is dirty and the machines are in disrepair. You have to pay a quarter to use the restroom and that too is dirty and gross. Also, their advertised ‘free wifi’ has never worked.

OK laundry with some issues. The machines are clean and there are no homeless here to bother you. This thing about no homeless people can be pretty important. The staff usually have little familiarity with English.
For some reason, their landlord replaced the front façade of the building. The other day it rained, and the front roof was dropping and leaking like crazy. We will see if the construction people have fixed it. I notice they installed new flashing since that last rain.
The restroom needs a quarter, but usually smells bad.
Top loader #14 on the east side has a chronically low water level. The attendants blow me off about it. The other machines usually work OK. If one does not, speak up about it.
Other than these deficits, the machines generally work OK, and are clean & serviced regularly. There is a convenient Post Office nearby for regular mail also.

I recently visited because I realized I had left a few pieces of laundry. The lady attendant was extremely helpful as we searched the mat for the missing items.
We quickly located the pieces and everything is now a happily ever after.
I choose to bump up my rating from three stars to four for great customer service.

This place is quite all right.

I like this place. I do have one criticism. There is wifi here and they advertise it here but no password posted! I asked the attendant who is a very nice man but he didn’t understand. Everything else about this place, great!

The place was nice, clean, friendly and very peaceful. Just a good way to spend a Sunday morning to wash my clothes. The place was close by and wanted to give it a shot. Happy with my experience. Will come back again

After one of their machines failed in the middle of my load the owner/​manager was condescending and rude. I will never go back there again.

The lady that works there during the day is really nice, she is always polite and helpful, it’s nice to have someone that in case there is a problem with a washer, and pays you back or helps to get your money out of the machine if it malfunctions and takes your money. It’s always clean, never crowded, lots of parking, not too expensive… as no laundrromat is cheap but the small washers are a dollar cheaper than other places I have gone. they washers don’t run that long for your quarter, but they are always hot. The worst is when they don’t run long, AND they are cold. I can usually get my bath towels dry with three quarters, but the washers are cheaper, so it comes out the same any place you go, but a nicer enviroment is always more pleasant.. oh, and they open early, too. The local place I go keep raising prices, and also put a a one hour parking limit in the lot! So, Wishy Washy is worth driving a bit farther farther.. and lots of snack machines, and places around to get something to eat while doing your laundry. quiet street to relax and just read a magazine, too.

The attendant was on me the moment I walk through the door. She was harassing me and telling me how to load the washer, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I think I was targeted because I am African American… but after I told her off she left me alone. I will never go back again, I know when I am not welcome.

For dryer, 12 ~ 14 minutes per quarter in this area, but this guy gives 8 min. Also you will see dirty drums.

Nice place to go to when you need to get some laundry done.
There are many different washers in there from regular $ 1.15 top loaders to $ 2.25 maytag front load washers to their bigger speed queen models.
The dryers are located on the sides and will run you about .25 cents for 8 minutes.
There are also vending machines selling everything from drinks/​candies to washing machine soap. You can also exchange bills for coins here which is nice and convenient.
Plenty of parking, quiet and rarely full. Many washers to choose from at decent prices.

The only coin laundry in a 3 mile radius from my house. Only come by to wash my blankets and I totally know I’m getting ripped off but nothing I can do… $ 5.50 for the large washers and 25 cents for 8 minutes of the dryers. Two blankets in and i’m down 20 bucks. SMH… plus I just don’t feel as though my blankets are really clean.
Things they have going for them. clean and never super packed. Plus a yaki’s next door so I can grab a snack while I wait.
Maybe I should take note from my grandma and start hand washing the suckers at home.

My studio’s dryer broke and went here w. my damp blanket and sheets. This place actually have an attendant lady to help. She saw me look lost and she was so helpful. Life saver! Now I finally have dry and warm blanket for tonight. Definitely going back next time.

This laundromat was disappointing because of the old Speed Queen washing machines. These large size washers do not clean well. The single-​load washers may work well, but the triple load washers have problems.
I used only the triple-​load washers and cannot comment on the single-​load machines. There are two problems regarding these large washers. One of the triple load washers I used would not dispense any water, so the nice Armenian lady had to come work with the machine and coax it to dispense some water.
Another of the triple-​load washers dispensed water, but the clothes came out still smelling dirty despite having adequate amounts of laundry detergent. My conclusion is that the water level is set too low in some of those front-​loader machines. It is understandable that the owner wants to spend less money on water, but if the machine is advertised as a triple-​load machine, then he should adjust the water level so the machines will clean well.

For big big loads…
Its maintained really well, staff is always on site, but I hate those ceiling fans… It dries my eyes out :(

i come to this place whenever i have big laundry to do. usually this place is never crowded and the prices seem pretty reasonable in my opinion.

I LOVE this place. NO laundromat is inexpensive. If you don’t want to use the Maytag Neptunes there are plenty of the usual Speed Queens for $ 1.25. The dryers are efficient, the place is clean as a whistle. It’s large and comfortable, plenty of room in the aisles between the machines and lots of seating, coffee and a few video game machines for bored kids and teens. Televisions to while away the time. There’s a fluff and fold on the premises so there’s almost always an attendant around, the machines are kept in good repair. Located in a small strip type mall with a little grocery store and various other places if you need anything, including lunch.
If you’re not used to using laundromats you may have problems, but for those of us who aren’t lucky enough to have houses of our own to put our own machines in you could do a LOT worse than Wishy Washy.
