Its beautiful view, secluded, clean and family oriented park. We rented the cabin $ 50 per day, there minimum 4 day stay for the weekend. The cabin has a twin bunk bed, futon and round table with two chairs and one chair outside. Bring fitted sheets. Its very open. The picnic/recreation area is separated in different location which made it perfect. Boat access close by. Kayak to Button Bay Island and see some history. Lots of toddler roaming around without supervision. The park had planned activities during the weekends. It was the beginning of summer(June) so it rained, the camp ground was full of swamp area so bring tarp for the tent, booths, raincoat and umbrella. If your staying on the cabin be prepare to meet some friendly spiders. $ 6 for bundle of wet woods. Shower is 50 cent for 5 minutes. This place is 10min drive from town, 30minutes from Shelburne, 1 hour drive from Burlington

Great state park. The campground was quiet, beautiful views, relatively clean bathrooms. We rented a cabin($ 48 per night!) and it was brand new, clean, great porch, rocking chairs. Pool was so fun. Walk in(like a beach) to shallow area and the kids loved the water slide. We had a great time.

Went camping there this past weekend. It was nicer than I expected. The campground is out in the open, nor many trees, but I was OK with it. Park got extremely quiet around 10pm which was perfect. Bathroom and showers were pretty clean. All in all a nice pleasant weekend.
