Bed Bath & Beyond

I used to find everything here but now I find it over priced and not finding what I want. Perhaps because I now have more specific needs or just am not willing to dish out the dough for not exactly what I want.

Things we needed: Hanukkah placemats, blue taper candles, plain white dinner plates, wicker cornucopia.

I’d say that’s a four-​star experience, especially when you consider that they let you use all kinds of expired coupons every time you visit. I also love Bed Bath & Beyond for their super-​convenient college shopping service, Pack & Ship, where you can buy things at your store and they’ll have them packed up and waiting for you near your university. It’s a go-​to!

I once saw an episode of Fam Guy where Peter implied its the Beyond (in Bed, Bath & Beyond) that you have to worry about.
But seriously, BBB has everything that you would need in your home — bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, storage, pets, home décor, toiletries, indoor or patio furniture and more!!!
I like the fact that you can use a 20% off coupon or a $ 5 off coupon. Every penny counts. Whenever I get their flyer, I check to see if anything we need is on sale. Then when I calculate the coupon, cha-​Ching goes through my mind.
I especially like their return policy.
Their staff is always approaching you to offer you help or direct you the right direction. So how can you go wrong with BBB?

BB&B — what’s the beyond? I’m sure many people have asked.
They occasionally send some coupons through the mail and in that case it’s time to take a gander round.
They do have a lot of things that seem useful as well as a lot of gadgets you wonder who buys those things.
Coming later at night, it’s never too busy which is helpful because it’s pretty narrow to move around in here.
They have more stuff than just bed and bath. Perhaps the beyond is for kitchen stuff which takes up a substantial amount of the store. If only had the cash to shop for these things.

BBB always has coupons so you can get a good deal on what you need to buy. I don’t know if they honor expired coupons anymore, but I know that they did at one point. So, that was a plus. Also, they have a good selection of items.
However, I don’t enjoy the layout and don’t like how tight the spaces seem and how each and every shelf/​rack is stuffed with items. Plus, what’s the point of putting items sky high on the walls when no one can reach them? Also, I really didn’t see any associates working in the departments.
But, despite that, it’s still a decent store and I would shop there again.

Good store for the home cook or chef. You can purchase some nice quality items here.

Meh. Not a huge fan of this location. It just seems smaller than most BBB’s. I don’t like the way this one is laid out, either. I just never seem to find what I’m looking for at this location. The feng shui is off for some reason.
I only come here if I have to, or for something where I can just run in and out. Not for «real» shopping.

Love triple B. I’m a kitchen gadget whore, and I love all things home-​related. Service has been good consistently at their stores in multiple states. I am always greeted, always asked if I need help with anything — AND THESE PEOPLE ARE SMILING! OH LAWD IT’S A MIRACLE.
I have never received poor customer service, but I also hardly ever return anything to any store, have not had a registry here, and know exactly what I want when I walk in.
This is also the only store I know of that carries replacement bulbs in both colors for Conair lighted makeup mirrors. My heroes!
Plus they carry my beloved Tervis Tumblers. They are a way of life in Florida — and when I moved here I was dismayed to use regular glassware until I found that they carry a good portion of what the Florida stores do. That alone gets them two stars. :)

Wow, 5 stars for the management team here at the Vernon Hills location! I was shocked to see the one star review by another Unilocal-​er. My first reaction was shock, then after looking at the date I realized that there must have been a change in staff from over a year ago.
I went into the store looking up and down each isle just to see what they had with nothing special in mind. Every corner I turned, someone with a smile asked if I need help finding anything. After I thanked them and let them know I didn’t need anything at the moment, they assured me they could help me if I needed anything in the future. I had found some things and after carrying it for only a few moments, someone had brought me a basket to make it easier for me to carry. Wow, thanks!
When I left the store I felt happy that there are in fact people who are kind and don’t hate their job.
The store was also huge and full of good things by the way. :o)
