Peterson’s Groves & Nursery

Since moving to Vero Beach, FL, in 2007, I have enjoyed Peterson’s farm, great OJ freshly squeeze! What could be better than that!
The veggies, eggs, limes, grapefruit, the best Meyer lemons, all pesticide FREE! The real flavors of Nature, give it a try, you’ll come back again an again.

This is BY FAR the best packing house in Vero.
Authentic — they have every type of orange, grapefuit, homemade jelly and kitchy FL item you could want. They also have a function chicken coop, with roosters, pigs, peacocks and other random animals.
The prices are more than fair and the fruit is wonderful. They have the best orange juice I have ever tried, anywhere in the world. It has more or less ruined me for any other orange juice.
And you generally get the pleasure of meeting Mr. Fred Peterson himself when you visit. He’s the owner/​operator and he is a throwback to a bygone era of badassery. He is worth a trip to this nursery/​packinghouse on his own (ask him about wives some time!).
I couldn’t begin to do Peterson’s justice with a Unilocal review so I will just say, PLEASE stop by and try the orange juice!
