This Verona placed coupons in local mailers. I took a coupon that was for 50% off one item to this store to buy my husband protein powder. The item is almost always the same price of $ 56.99, if you don’t have the store customer card. So imagine my surprise when the price, after the coupon, was just over $ 47! The cashier explained that the powder is on «sale» for $ 56.99 and the normal price is $ 96. Having bought this powder for my husband for YEARS I found this quite a stretch. The coupon was incredibly vague and I told the cashier that the fine print didn’t say anything about«sale» prices and legally, the coupon must specify its restrictions. He said that regardless, he knew what he was talking about because he was«in advertising.» Um, no you aren’t. You’re a cashier. My husband is a creative director in advertising in NYC. In addition, it just so happens that I’m a lawyer. Yet it’s funny how this cashier knew more about advertising and the legality of coupons. I’ll never go here again.

Came here today for the first time looking for some protein powder. The sales clerk was very helpful and knowledgeable and was even willing to match a better price that I found elsewhere. No complaints here. I’ll definitely be back.

This is one of the smaller stores, but the owner and people that work there are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Also, it’s conveniently located near my gym. They carry some of the products I use, and have GNC branded alternatives for others. They’re good for when I run out of products and need something the same day, but are generally considerably more expensive than I’ve found in online stores.
