Our signature boarding service includes a pragmatic approach to pet care that includes, often and ample time outside for the physical and mental well-​being for our canine residents. Minimum 4 x outside in one of our 14 exercise areas. Time consuming for us but happy and healthy dogs, return.

For an extra fee, interpersonal walks can be provided around our lake and along the forest tree-​line. These lucky puppies enjoy life away from the rest of the crowd with a person.

Separate accommodations provided for the small and aged dogs. This thoughtful approach is much better for them yet no less desirable. Cats and other animals welcome.

Indoor/​outdoor runs & totally inside runs. AC/​Heated

Professional training lessons and board/​train available on a limited basis.

History

Established in 1993.

Richard worked with Texas Eastern Petroleum Pipeline for 17 years. Working over 80 hrs per week during the fall without backup, we decided to move to northern Kentucky and start a business of our own. We did it the old fashion way. We started from scratch, we put together a thoughtful plan of what was best for dogs while their owners were away and worked hard and long hours.

We had been schutzhund handlers for many years. Both of us had quite a background in a wide range of training including hunting/​field work, pets, tracking, protection and of course, obedience.

Since the beginning, Melody also became a certified FEMA K9 resource. Has went on to train French Ring, agility and even, entered the conformation ring a few times. Melody also went to Nash Academy to learn how to properly groom dogs.

Melody was also a 9 yr member of exotic cat group the Feline Conservancy Federation. See, this is where 4-​H and FFA can lead you. Yes, our passion is animals.
