On site hand-​made Gelato, Ice Cream, and Sorbet using fresh ingredients such as Pennsylvania Dutch Chocolate, fresh cream, and milk. Hand-​made chocolate or vanilla waffle cones, milk shakes, and banana splits in a warm fresh-​made «waffle boat» help round out the fare. Also, we offer hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, pizza, French fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, and other foods.

History

Established in 2013.

Deb and Joe attended the Penn State Ice Cream manufacturing course, met with the Italian equipment vendors, and attended a chef’s school in North Carolina. Then, we designed the building for you to easily view our processes, and we opened July 2, 2013. We have since added hot food, cold drinks, and our own hand-​made chocolate and vanilla waffle cone recipes. We even have gluten-​free cones for those who are interested.

Joe’s grandfather had a dairy and an associate restaurant in Southeast Ohio in the 1950s. They made their own home made ice cream, too! Joe and Deb attended the Penn State ice cream manufacturing course in 2012 and in July of 2013, we opened Inside Scoop at Chuckster’s. Our dream was to build an increasing following of faithful customers who know that we appreciate them coming while we offer them gourmet specialty dessert items at unusually low prices. We have succeeded in doing just that, and we would love to have you come try our products, too.
