J & A Muffler Shop

They are a 5+ service. They were knowledgeable, honest and did fantastic work. They are reasonable priced for the work they do. It’s so. Refreshing to find an honest business man. I highly recommend anybody to go and see them if you need any muffler/​exhaust work done. Thank you so much for everything.

Just moved up to Apple Valley and already got pulled over for loud exhaust modifications. I was a nuisance to my neighborhood so I had to fix my V8, and took it to J&A Mufflers. They know their sh*t, got my ride running quiet and my neighbors like me again. Great job guys!

Went with my wife to get a quote on our dodge charger for an exhaust when we walking in it was super dirty there was one guy working in a car and the other 2 just on the phone one on them seen us and just nodded this head as saying what’s up and went back in his phone we waited there like 5 minutes and no on acknowledged us just over all unprofessional and rude so we left and stombled upon howards muffle servies just in the ither street super clean shop the guy stopped what he was doing helped up answered our questions everything we need we got lucky we found it leaving j&a muffle shop

So, I wanted to wait to write my review until after I got my smog check so I could give a tried and tested review of the Catalytic converter I had installed. After a previous failed smog I was told I needed a cat. I searched online but as you may know, if you’ve looked, cats that are CA legal are super expensive online. I went to J&A based on the reviews and a recommendation from my grandpa. The younger guy greeted me and was very professional. He checked out my car and gave me an out the door price of $ 165 and a 30 minute turn around time. That’s a great price for a CA certified cat + labor. I think it only took him 20 minutes to do the whole thing. I not only passed my smog check but my car is running way below the average on emissions. I’ll definitely come back for all my exhaust needs. Thanks guys

I needed a catalytic converter for my Honda Civicc to pass smog. This man and his nephew Julio can be trusted to do the work. All of the shops in my home town gave me nothing but a complete run around with the whole job and a price higher than the original quote. Extremely nice and interactive with the customer a grass routs family operation. I highly recommend this place no need to think or shop. Also i went to a smog station and the cat passed with flying colors totally amazing.

The muffler on my vehicle broke off on my way home, I called J&A to see if they were able to work on my car that afternoon. The guy there gave me a quote of $ 70 and told me to bring the vehicle down. The guys at the shop put my vehicle on the lift and found that the muffler had torn apart from the pipe they replaced the broken pipe and charge me $ 40. I appreciate their honesty.

Needed just a few 45 degree bends to make my exhaust a bit more tolerable until I make sure the car is running good and all the kinks worked out. I dropped by a few shops before I hit J & A. No one wanted to help without the car actually there (their loss). My last stop off of 7^th Street, I found this small muffler shop. A young kid greeted my husband and I. We explained what we needed, he gave us a very reasonable price and in 15 minutes we were on our way home. I have a quite a few project cars and we will be back to J & A next time.
