History

Established in 2009.

Teresa Cole and Michael Miller practiced together for ten years before starting Cole Miller PLLC. During that time, they observed and noted the processes and procedures that did and did not work well at numerous other law offices. They determined how to leverage technology to increase the efficiency and productivity of the practice of law while containing costs and affordability for their clients.

The focus of our firm is client service. We maintain ongoing and frequent communications with our clients to keep them informed at every step. Family law matters can be extremely stressful. Communications reduce stress for our clients by alleviating the unknown and restoring stability to their lives.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

My undergraduate major was accounting. While attending the University of Utah, I worked in the computer center. I have continued to pursue my interest in accounting and computers to assist with the practice of law.

Following law school, I entered active duty in the United States Marine Corps. My first duty assignment at Camp Lejeune was as a court-​martial defense counsel. I later served as a legal assistance attorney, and then as the staff judge advocate for the 26^th MEU. Each of those assignments extensively involved matters of family law. Given the large community one serves as a judge advocate, one gains substantial experience quickly.

I then became a primary instructor for legal assistance matters at the Naval Justice School. I was able to use my experience to teach the new judge advocates how to better serve our fellow servicemembers.

I decided to leave active duty to pursue the full-​time practice of family law. That has been my sole area of practice since.
