Massage Envy – Vienna

Had an outstanding massage with Helen today! I asked for hard pressure and she did not disappoint, was very responsive to my feedback, and left feeling amazing. The staff were all very friendly, super clean and relaxing setting, and an overall great experience. Wish I could swing the monthly massage deal!

Amazing and relaxing facial by Haley last week. She knew exactly what I needed and did not try to oversell anything to me. Last night I had an hour and a half massage and it was the best I have ever received from that location. Can’t tell you who did it because I don’t want her completely booked. Looking forward to my next visit. Keep up the good work.

I had a lovely facial at this location from Vivian. She was very professional and gave me a great consultation before the facial on my skin condition and my régime. The front desk was very helpful and nice as well. I would high recommend this location to my friends!

I had an phenomenal massage. Quang makes an hour and a half seem like 30 minutes. He is extremely adept at easing tension and relieving muscle aches. I also loved the facial I received from Vivienne today. She is the reason I get facials every month when I usually get one once in a blue moon. They are worth the drive. Did I say that the front desk is second to none? The staff are extremely helpful!

I’ve had regular massages here for about a year. They are ok massages, but not great. The front desk staff makes a lot of mistakes with appointments. And, when I tried to book another appointment with a therapist I used before I was told she was not available anymore, but she still works there. Odd. The front desk staff also asks if you want to leave a tip. I think that is between me and the therapist.

I have been going to this ME location and been a member for over a year. At first, it was amazing and I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and massages. However, for some time now it has been extremely frustrating to get an appointment and they never have availability that works with my schedule. While I recognize they are now victims of their own success, I just can’t pre-​schedule a month in advance for a massage and sometimes the «treat» is the last minute massage. Tonight was the absolute worst though… when I was in the Spa and checking out last week, I made my next appointment (which I was very proud of) and marked it in my calendar. However, when I showed up for the appt, they told me they didn’t have me booked and just turned me away at the door. Amazingly disappointing since I had been waiting all day for this. Big sigh. At this point, I think I just need to cancel my membership because clearly this is not working for me.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. I signed up for monthly massages in advance. Tried a bunch of different massage therapists and didn’t find any I really liked. Also had some very unpleasant experiences. My sister also felt sexually harassed by her massage therapist. Feels like being a part of a conveyor belt. Small communal waiting area. No robes or lockers. Definitely not a day spa. But they do give you lots of free water.
Positives — the rooms are small, but they are dark and they try to have soothing music on so you can relax.
Business design is set up to be a «bargain» — but you get what you pay for.

After reading all the great reviews of this location I decided to give it a try. Well, I’m not impressed at all.
The good: friendly staff, helpful front desk and clean rooms from what I can tell. Only reason why I did not give a 1 star review.
The bad: my therapist Nick cannot follow simple instructions after I have repeated 3 times. I told him to work out the knots and stress in my shoulders and neck (I filled out my initial paperwork just the same). He massaged my middle back for at least 20 minutes. I told him to stop and go work on my shoulders and neck — he would listen for less than 5 minutes and then went back to working my middle back. He stopped the «One hour» session at 48 minutes. When I asked why it’s not the full hour. he gave me some bs that the «full hour» of massage means 5 mins of filling out paperwork at the beginning and 5 mins of talking to front desk to schedule for followup session. Uh. so why did I come in 10 mins early to fill out my paperwork? And honestly why would I come back for a follow up if I’m so unhappy with the first one.

I have been to Massage Envy Vienna 3 times now and ready to give them a great review!
The first time I did a hot stone massage. While I did like it, I felt like a bit too much of my massage time was wasted on preparing the stones and whatnot (had not experienced this delay at other places). However, the massage was good, so I had a positive experience.
The next 2 times I was with Carrie D! I give Carrie 5 stars! I have A LOT of tension and tightness in my shoulders to the extent of actual pain setting in. Carrie did a great job of working on the area through a series of what she called stretching the muscles. It was not stretches per say, but a great approach to working out my tightness without lots of pain. I really appreciate someone who can do a great firm massage and not cause extreme pain.
Other comments — Front staff are always friendly. All areas are clean. Therapists have always been on time.

If you’re someone who enjoys frequent or routine massages, this place would be a great one to go to. Prices are very reasonable, staff is pleasant and professional, and the therapists get the job done. No real bells and whistles here — but you’ll get a pretty good massage at a decent price.
I get massages maybe 2 times a year just to pamper myself, so I really do enjoy all of those bells and whistles I pay a pretty penny for at the higher-​end spas. I need all that silly eucalyptus-​rainwater-​zen ambiance. And the quality of the massage is a bit different as well. So for me, Massage Envy wasn’t everything I was hoping for, but I did enjoy my visit. The therapist was great about getting the knots out of my shoulders and stretching my limbs. And I liked the scalp and temple massage. I would definitely recommend this place to those who just want a straight forward no frills massage. You can’t beat the price.

I’ve been going to the Vienna Massage Envy for over a year now, and have definitely enjoyed it. Ben at the front desk remembers my wife and I and greets us by name every time, he’s also super friendly and helpful with our sometimes last minute requests.
My wife and I have seen a few different mt’s here and all have been good, but we definitely have our favorites. I’m a deep tissue guy and Andra is perfect at working out deep tension. I’ve even had a facial there and while I don’t think a facial is ever quite as relaxing as a massage mine was conducted expertly, the environment was quiet and relaxed, and the esthetcian was very friendly to boot.

My 1 hour massage was like a TORTURE. I just had a massage in this morning with a lady who was Juddy or Judge (she didn’t give me her name when I asked her, so I had to ask the service)
I filled the paper that I want a light not medium or deep, but she hurt me so bad event I said to her that’s hurt and be gentle many many time, but after few seconds she keeped hurting me, and she trarted to taking to me and asked me about my personal life too much (I thought that massage is for relaxing) Now I have a bruise on my shoulder. This was a nightmare massage.

I just went to MassageEnvy located in Vienna & had a great experience! I was worried about who my esthetician would be since i’ve had bad experiences before at other locations. My estheticians name was Nikki & I found her to have a great attitude and a real interest in her line of work. Also, everyone at the front desk was friendly & attentive. I didn’t feel like i was pressured into buying their product line, either which makes a big difference to me. They genuinely cared about my wellness!(:

I stopped into the spa today for my regular appointment. The nice man at the front desk recognized me as a frequent customer and asked if I recently wrote a «yelp review.» I told him I did. He was so sweet, He was upset that I was not 100% satisfied with one of the experiences I have had there. He offered an upgrade to my next massage. The gesture was unnecessary, I go to the spa all the time and have only had one bad experience. I appreciated the thought — it was really sweet, great customer service.

My appointment at the massage envy in Vienna was at 5:30. My clinician was walking the halls until he took me into a room at 5:45. Massage started at 5:50 before ending with oil in my hair at 6:30. Appointment was supposed to be for an hour… when I brought this up at the desk they charged me for the entire hour and have me a credit for a foot scrub but info about it other than to repeat what the website briefly says it does for your feet. When I called to make an appointment for a foot scrub I was told I needed to schedule another massage and the foot scrub would be added to the last 6 mins for extra $ 10! So not worth it… way to attract customers by scamming them… oh and also I’m pretty sure my clinician was falling asleep a couple times during my massage. The website also says time is provided for an hour full body massage and my clinician told me I would have to book a longer massage if I wanted full body and that’s why he only focused on my shoulders and back for most of the hour (which was actually 40 minutes). Idiots.
Staff was nice (or deceiving… can’t tell) and massage did feel good (as short as it was). Hope dude wasn’t expecting a decent tip. If I could rate the experience as 1 ½, I would.

I came across an offer and decided to take a chance. I received friendly warm reminders a day prior to our appointments. When I arrived, the environment already started to soothe. Great work on the atmosphere. The management greeted me and set the mood for the entire visit. Courteous professional staff were present throughout our time at the spa.
The best part though, the massage. My therapist was Irina who was very professional and knew the anatomy like the back of her hand and did not hold a conversation during the massage like some others do. I walked out with every muscle in my body relaxed, including my back which had been bothering me more than I knew. It was the best massage ever.
Great place, great staff.

Following my three-​star review, a spa manager got in touch with me and offered a complimentary 60-​minute session. This time, Juan was my massage therapist and the whole experience was excellent. Juan was professional and has provided relaxing, yet therapeutic massage. Upon conclusion, I signed up for a six-​month membership.

I have been to the Vienna, VA location 3 times now. I have a membership and it is a reasonable way to make sure I get regular massages. I have seen Alex for a firm massage and he does a good job. Have not tried the facials yet. I wish they had hot stone or aromatherapy massage.

I’ve been to the Massage Envy location in Sterling on several occassions, but not recently. After checking reviews on Unilocal of all the nearby locations it was clear that the Vienna franchise was receiving the highest marks and fewest complaints (check out the reviews for some of those sites).
The day after Christmas I called to schedule an appointment. After discussing my needs with the person who answered (Chris) I was able to book a same-​day appoinment (albeit during a weekday).
Upon arrival I was greeted courteously, completed the necessary medical release forms, and was led to their client waiting area. My massage therapist came out promptly and after a discussion of my needs and past massage experiences she provided an excellent deep tissue massage. Upon its’ conclusion all the tension in my shoulders had been alleviated. She made treatment recommendations for any subsequent visits and thanked me for my visit.
Afterwards working with Hakim and the store manager, Camille, I set up a 6 month membership and booked my next appointment (with the same massage therapist) for February.
I highly recommend the Vienna location. Excellent customer service, very reasonable prices, a clean, convenient location, and best of all, excellent massage talent!

I had never been to a massage envy before and this place came out in results when I was looking for a facial and a massage after work last Wednesday. This was the only place open at 6pm and I had no problem getting appointments with both, the esthetician and the massage therapist (Alex).
The massage: I’m not very easy to convince… I have been spoiled by some foreign spas but this session was GOOD! Al the stress knots in my neck and back are still gone two days later and it’s feels great.
The facial: fine. Again I’ve been around and my favorite is thousands of miles out, but Nikki did a great job at treating my capricious skin.
The place: very clean, organized, adequate lighting, low level of noise, and the massage tables have heaters (big plus)
Staff: super friendly. They talk to you in a low voice that fits with the soothing atmosphere at massage envy.
The 5^th star is due to the fact that it’s compatible with my hours. I don’t need to take a day off work to get a massage or loose a weekend for a massage… Negative: they really push hard to sell the M. Products.
