Hossein, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. He is very knowledgable and obviously loves the pieces he has in the shop. He genuinely wants to inform and please the customer. Santiago was very hard working, friendly and also a pleasure to deal with. The shop has a very large assortment of absolutely beautiful pieces with varying prices. Highly recommended!!!

I can’t speak highly enough of Mr. Nilfouroush and Santiago. They actually came to my house and looked at my décor in order to help me select rugs. I was having trouble picking rugs — they then chose several for me to look at. They delivered the next day, and put the rug pads and rugs down. Santiago was very meticulous about the placement of the rugs. They also took a couple of old rugs as trade-in. I thought the prices were great — very fair, and also negotiable. I feel that I got high quality rugs from people who really cared to see that I got the right rugs for me. Also, both are so knowledgeable about rugs. They showed me several antique rugs just to help educate me and help me understand what I was looking at. You won’t go wrong here — either for customer service, quality or price

The owner is very knowledgeable about Oriental Rugs and has an enormous inventory that makes it very convenient to find the perfect rug in size, design and colors. He has an energentic helper, Santiago, who also has knowledge of the store’s inventory. Both thre owner and his helper will do almost anything to assist in finding what you need and want. The price is right! Each rug is clearly marked in price, and there’s also some“wiggle room” to negotiate a lower price. But you won’t be ripped off in this store. They are fair and will deliver and set up large rug purchases. My wife and I bought an 8′ x 10′ rug and they delivered it and placed it for us. We returned a month or two later and bought a slightly smaller additional rug — same quality service — delivery and placement while we supervised. You won’t go wrong buying at Persepolis Oriental Rug Inc.

Full disclosure: I did not buy, sell, or have a rug cleaned. I took two Persian rugs in to get appraised and find out about selling. The owner, Hossein Nilforoush, is a gem. He gave me an incredibly interesting history and economics lesson on Persian rugs and their worth and he told me the story behind the images on one of my rugs. He actually counseled me against selling the rugs at this time because of the market after appraising my rugs under current market conditions. The store is tucked away on Tyco Rd. off of Rt. 7 near the toll road. There is a sign on the door that asks you to call a phone number when you get there. I think Mr. Nilforoush either lives very close by or works out of another location nearby. So, I called and he showed up a few minutes later. He spent at least 20 – 30 with me and then sent me cheerily on my way without seeking any payment for the appraisal. The store is like a playground full of rugs. They hang on the wall and are stacked higher than my head. A beautiful store and a wonderful merchant.
