I came here with a Groupon for a 75 minute massage. I will note that it was a little difficult to find, so you have to be on the look out as you can’t see it from Maple Avenue, so give yourself a few extra minutes on the way there unless you know where you’re going. When I walked in, the ambience was welcoming, and tranquil. They greeted me by name, and were ready for me immediately. The massage was well done, and I had Bagi as my therapist. My biggest complaint is that the room was very cold. Almost cold enough to interrupt with the benefits of the massage. However, Bagi closed the window about halfway through the session, which explained why it was so cold in there. Also, it didn’t seem as if she used enough lotion/​oil as the friction was a little much at times. Otherwise, it was a very lovely experience, & I enjoyed the massage.

This place is amazing! Bagi is a miracle worker. I came to this place hoping to replace my old massage therapist because she moved far away. I had very specific needs and Bagi told me she would do whatever it takes to help me get better.
Not only does she do a great job with the deep tissue massages i need, but she also does some acupressure that honestly keeps me from getting migraines ²⁴⁄₇. If I skip a session because of my work schedule I usually regret it quickly afterwards lol.
But the reason I’m writing this review is mostly because I want to thank Sky Energy for being SO FLEXIBLE. I have called the day before letting them know I couldn’t make my appointment because my boss needed me to stay late. They always say «no problem» and help me reschedule.
Even on their day off they were answering my voicemail telling me they could move my appointment to the next day or a couple hours later than normal. I am beyond impressed with their patience for me. I not only move my appointment frequently, but recently had a bad skin «reaction» (to a home product) I guess you could call it, and had to bring special skin cream from my doctor.
As a woman honestly it’s hard to feel pretty and have a rash you know you can’t hide from the one person who will be looking at your back for an hour. I handed over my special cream and gloves super scared that I would be silently judged for my hour long massage. Did that actually happen? NO!
Bagi was SOOOO kind and made light of my situation. She told me I wasn’t alone, and she could work through anything. She would just use my special cream and gloves and it would be just like every other time. She suggested different herbal treatments to help with the healing of the rash, and then told me I probably work too hard and should relax more hahaha.
She is honestly the sweetest woman I think i’ve ever met. She was kind and really caring on a personal level. She always remembers the details of my life that i share so every time I go in, we just pick up chatting where we left off. I’m shocked she remembers all that stuff!
If you want almost ANY kind of massage (she offers all kinds of massages and went to school for really special kinds) I suggest you go here.
I plan on going to this place for a VERY long time and I hope I never have to go anywhere else. I LOVE this place.

This place was great! Never would have known about it if it wasn’t for the living social deal. It’s tucked behind a building on chain bridge road.

I have been needing a massage for quite a while, I have been feeling all hunched over and unable to relax for months! Bagi did some amazing work and I have been so relaxed, I took a LONG nap after my massage and I’m still RELAXED! Will definately go back, I found them through a Groupon and good reviews and was SO PLEASED!!!

I took my athletic daughter for the tightness muscle release. Bagi is so wonderful and knowledgeable! We really like her and she how the body system works very well.
I am glad that I saw other reivews which help me decide to buy a livingsocial coupon and got to know her.

I was gifted a massage here and choose the hot stone… with Yuki…
Never had a female masseuse, and she stood about 5ft tall about 115lbs… so when she asked if I wanted medium or strong pressure I assumed her «strong «wouldn’t be strong enough…
Bad bad decision… Yuki was STRONG!!!
Yes it hurt but it felt good at the same time and when she was done I felt great…
The salon was very comforting and I loved the heated bed!
A few hours later I was in so much pain it hurt to be hugged… smh I should have asked for medium…

Had a prenatal massage with Tsomo last week and it was wonderful! Initial appointment was made using a groupon, but the prices are very good so I will be going back even without specials. Being 8 months pregnant, everything pretty much hurts-​especially my lower back! She focused on the exact areas that were bothering me and really helped to ease a lot of my aches and pains. The bed was great and it was the kind that heats up. The room was very relaxing and serene. Her massage technique was really great. I left feeling so refreshed and happy. Can’t wait for my next massage in a couple weeks! Highly recommend prenatal massages there!

Thank you groupon for helping me find this cute gem of a place!!! I had previously been booked the day before and had to call pretty much last minute when I went to my car and found it dead
I had spoke with Emma who answered the phone and she empathetically immediately said «no problem we can have you come in the next day!!» There was no last minute cancel fee!
Went in following day and met Emma at front desk who was just the sweetest! My therapist was Zulaa and I had a deep tissue massage with hot stone! Zulaa asked what pressure I like and probably gave me one of the best massages I’ve had! The heat helped me to relax and her pressure was spot on! Relaxing music on in the room and her soothing energy was perfect!
I Met Baji at the desk and also found her to have a warm persona. I will return!
Remember: if your looking for a spa type place with saunas, pools, attitude driven people you won’t find that here!!! It’s a very humble place with a mom and pop feel and good energy inside!

What an excellent find! I bought a Living social deal and I’m so glad I did.
My appointment was scheduled with Bagi. I was a tight ball of knots when I went in and left feeling amazing. I work 8+ hours at a desk and carry most of my stress in my shoulders and neck area. She worked out all my knots and found my problem areas without me having to say anything. I have had many massages, but honestly this was the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t want my session to end. It was such a relaxing experience and I felt like a new person when I left.
The atmosphere is very relaxing. The young lady that checked me in was very welcoming and had an upbeat personality.
I scheduled another appointment for next month and will continue to pamper myself here. It’s worth every penny!

a friend of mine had a massage with Bagi. She says the massage was good overall but she had one complaint. When asked to go over the calves, Bagi pretty much shut her down by saying ‘I already did it!’ with not-​so-​friendly tone and facial expression. Made my friend feel really awkward after that. My friend wasn’t making any requests during the whole session and that was one request she had made. She didn’t know how to interpret Bagi’s response. Anyways, it would have been almost perfect if masseuse also had good communication skills.

Just called to schedule a massage. I’m 12 weeks pregnant. They refused to schedule an appointment for me and got all preachy abot how there is a human being inside of me and I can’t have a massage until 4 months. This is just untrue. A certified prenatal therapist should be able to safely give a massage throughout the entire pregnancy. Now my coupon that my husband bought for me will go to waste. Thanks for nothing.

I received several lymphatic massages after a surgery. Noticed slight improvements after every session. The place was clean and peaceful. The massage therapist was excellent!

Booked a massage with Bagi. She had excellent pressure and technique. And the use of aromatic oils delivered a nice touch. Their facility impressed me, especially the massage room. It was very large and private/​insulated for peace and quiet.
The only critiques that I can offer are 1) introduce yourself, and with a smile; and 2) determine customers’ ideal level of pressure at the beginning through a 1 to 10 scale. That is, actually press down on the customer starting at 1 and progress up to 10, asking what’s preferred. Very few masseuses use this tactic, but it goes a long way to more precisely meeting clients’ needs. My experience was great, but these 2 improvements would have moved me from 4 stars to 5.

I walked into this place feeling like a clenched up, twisted mess of muscles. After the myofascial release massage I got here though, I feel so much better.
At other places, I’ve definitely had the «robot» experience, where you can tell the therapist is just going through a procedure they give every other person. Not the case here; I could tell she was feeling out all the worst spots in my back muscles. Everything feels significantly more relaxed, and I’ve already scheduled another appointment (which I’ve never done before). Maybe someday my back will feel normal again.
Note: myofascial release was A LOT of pressure at times. I might also be a bit of a wimp.

Thank you groupon for helping me find this gem! Ever since I moved to this area I have been looking for a good massage therapist. I have finally found one. Bagi Dagva is so thorough and incredibly talented. The overall massage experience is just right! I’ve already scheduled my follow up and I can’t tell you how much I strongly recommend this massage therapist no matter where you are in Northern Virginia make the trip it’s worth it!

A lesson in good customer service is needed for the employees here.
I called several times to confirm my appointment and repeatedly got an answering machine. When I showed up at the time I had on my calendar I waited for 15 minutes in an empty office. I was then unceremoniously told to fill out some paperwork since my appointment was 30 minutes later at which point I left.
I would be especially wary if this is purchased via a living social deal as they will push you for a weekday time.

Ambiance: clean and standard of a local mom and pop place
Service: excellent. I was really sore walking in, especially my upper back and shoulder. I left feeling restored! The technique is different from what I am used too. It is not Thai or eastern style but I decided to just try it and see if it worked and it did!

This place is really awesome. They are not a spa, it is truly a place specializing in massage. If you are looking for a spa-​like experience with tranquility and waterfalls, and bathrobes, this is not the place for you. I believe that you come here for a massage that works specific areas as a form of physical therapy. I had a deep tissue massage with Bagi, and she is fantastic. She is very friendly and attentive. She was thorough and able to find spots that really needed extra work. My neck, upper back and jaw really all really tight and she paid extra attention to those areas to work them out. She even gave me some advice after the session on what I could do to stretch and relax the muscles. The prices are very reasonable. She was very nice and talked a bit with me throughout the massage, but it did not bother me.
I have recommended this to my friends, and intend on coming back.

Really, this place is excellent. The lady who worked on my right shoulder (deep tissue massage) relieved most of the pain and tension. I had a bad mountain biking accident last summer and have been dealing with shoulder pain for months now. Went to see the doc who gave me Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and gave me 3 weeks of physical therapy could not help as much as this deep tissue massage did in just 1 hour.
This is my second time back and I got the same excellent treatment as before. Not only does she know what she’s doing, she’s very good at it. She’s also one of the nicest person you’ll meet!
If you have any muscle tension or soreness then I would HIGHLY recommend coming here!

I am leaving 3 star review only because of all of other wonderful reviews… Otherwise, I would have left one star. It makes me sad, as I feel like we are talking about totally different studios. I wish my experience was half as good as theirs. I had a massage here about 2 months ago after getting a groupon (or livingsocial?, can’t remember which). It was utterly the worst massage I have ever got in my whole life. First of all, I asked specifically for a deep tissue beforehand as my back was really messed up, but I got an «all fluffy» Swedish. On top of that, the masseuse talked to me throughout the whole session, about politics… yep, politics. And she also said things like :“first generation immigrates have to do lower level job like giving people massages so our kids can go to good schools and have a better life.” !!! Imagine how stressed I was after hearing this!!! …Anyways, l left in the end of the day feeling like my tight muscles were untouched and also emotionally distressed.
I initially didn’t want to share this experience on Unilocal because I felt like a bad person after the masseuse «opened up» to me. But today, I got a promotion email from them and literally sighed out loud in front of my computer. I was a paid client who drove all the way up to this studio to receive a service, it is just not right to treat me like anything but. It’s simply traumatic for me and I will certainly not return.
