History

Established in 2012.

I opened Smiling Light Acupuncture & Wellness after I graduated from the Arizona School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and returned to my hometown of Arlington, VA.

I am licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine to practice Oriental Medicine. I practice acupuncture, cupping, medical massage and herbal medicine. I incorporate dietary recommendations, meditation, mindfulness, and exercise to enroll patients in their own healing.

Smiling Light Acupuncture & Wellness is dedicated to assisting with Pain and Fatigue conditions.

An Arlington native, Ali Sherbiny LAc, MAcOM is Licensed Acupuncturist with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine and qualified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) to offer Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Cupping, and Tui Na Chinese Medical Massage.

He is listed in-​network with insurance companies such as Aetna, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, Coventry, Optum, and United. Sherbiny has been practicing since 2009 and been learning methods of healing since a child. His current clinical experience in an integrated medical center pairs his past with a community clinic, spa, and private practice.

He currently resides in Arlington, Virginia with his wife Sara & enjoys motorcycle riding, cooking, playing music, and the outdoors.
