I went there for a chocolate paring tasting event. They had homemade sweets and great wine bottles. They are all good. Bacon chocolate and Shirah especially!
Price: Great!
Selection: Awesome. They have not only wine but also beer;)

Dropped in tonight. Josh had a beer tasting to help folks pick some Super Beer for Super Bowl. Amazing. Nothing like try and buy. Walked out with some super Suds. Hope they make it to Sunday. Friday night regular from now on. He knows his stuff but is personable and gives good advice. Prices are reasonable. Can’t wait till I hear about wine!

This is a good little store with a decent selection. Joshua, the proprietor, is quite helpful and turned me on to an excellent Chardonnay that matched my favorite, Wente Riva Ranch. Prices are fair too.

Have you ever been to Total Beverage or the wine and beer section of a Costco? This is the opposite. The store is small yet with a surprising selection. They can choose wines and beers are for their value, not the vineyard’s or brewery’s ability to supply astounding amounts of their products. And from what I saw the prices are very good.
I went on a Thursday evening for one of their wine classes. For $ 5 you get to sample a flight (flight — that’s one of the things I learned) of five wines based on a particular theme. When I went, it was «Wines of the NY Finger Lakes region.» In addition to having the opportunity to sample some really good wine, there was someone willing to go into as much detail as we wanted, and home cooked snacks. In this case it was «snack», the lentil stew was wonderful but there were issues that made the potato pancakes unservable. (That’s OK because I know without tasting them they would not have been as good as my Grandmother’s.)
Anyway, nice store, great people, and an opportunity to learn more about what you’re drinking if you choose.

Great prices, great staff, great wine and beer selection! Love their special themed tastings that they have every few weeks. I also enjoy learning about wine in their bi-​weekly classes, «Better know a region».

I had been wanting to visit this place for a while — basically ever since I started getting their email updates. Their logo statement says a lot: Big Box Prices. Small Store Service. While that is true that is not the only reason to be a fan. I am also a fan because they have regular themed tastings. After trying to make it over for a while Hubby and I finally visited on Saturday for the «not your kid’s ice cream social». It was a nice sampling and we enjoyed our interaction with the three members of the team.
This place is not fancy inside. What you are getting is information, variety, value, and interaction. I will definitely be thinking of this location the next time I am looking for a fun local wine experience or to grab a few bottles.
It would be a great place to stop right before a Wolf Trap visit.

Saw an event listed on Unilocal for rosé and BBQ, and thought why not try their store out. What I found was this little neighborhood gem, where the people know their customers. In the short time I was there, multiple came in and it was clear the sales associates knew them.
In particular, I was blown away by the knowledge that Josh had about wine and the quality of the selections he had available. The best part about the shop, is that it was apparent that Josh isn’t about jacking up the price and making a buck, but sharing his passion and knowledge, and above else having fun. I look forward to checking out his wine classes on Thursdays.

We are delighted to have a neighborhood wine store. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and loves wines and beers and he also has some cider to recommend at this time of year. He has a great beer selection, especially of IPA’s — from Stone and other known breweries as well as some lesser known ones and his prices are very competitive. We just picked up a second bottle of a Petite Sirah that we enjoyed from Santa Barbara County and a third bottle of a Barbera D’Alba from Italy.

This is my local neighborhood beer and wine shop. Josh’s palate and eye toward high-​value, great tasting beer and wine is unmatched. They may not have the selection of a Wegmans — but the personal service, excellent suggestions and high-​quality factor makes this store a gem. Add in the very competitive prices — and you have a 5-​star shop!
I finally feel that I have a «go to» local beer and business business that I plan to support for years to come.
Everyone should definitely check it out.

On your way for a quiet evening at home or if your going to a concert over at Wolf Trap stop at this little wine store where you’ll be greeted by a friendly smile. The wine selection was pretty impressive and the pricing was very good. I ran in for one bottle and ended up buying FOUR!!!
Really the shop owner was welcoming and his knowledge of the wine he had available made my shopping fast and convenient.
Cannot wait to drink our wine!

My husband found this new shop last week. He insisted I go back with him and I was impressed. I like how the owner used chalkboard paint on the walls. He writes the names, prices and information about wines and regions above the displays. The owner was very helpful, allowing us to taste wines and making suggestions on what we might like. We bought a few bottles and enjoyed each one. Prices are excellent. A must go if you enjoy wine or beer.

Keep In mind, this store JUST opened up, so it doesn’t look full quite yet. More inventory is on the way in, bringing in some stunner wines that have great value. Also on the way in are some solid craft beers and ciders from Virginia and beyond!
