Great pharmacy. Super helpful and accommodating even when I came a bit late to pick up a script. They stepped up and took care of me. It was appreciated greatly.

The service was fast, and they had most everything I was looking for including tools. Everything I needed for my summer camps, just 10% more in price :-) The cost of buying stuff at last minute. Staff there was really nice

Um, is it just me or are Walgreens EVERYWHERE? When they cant think of any cool place to build they just decide, hey lets build ANOTHER walgreens or a bank. Why Walgreens of all places? What made me think to review this particular Walgreens is because it is fairly new in Vienna(took the place of a Safeway) and I have been there twice and both occasions had horrible experiences.(ok, dont laugh, i know its just a drug store) But to be fair, Walgreens prices are higher than CVS’s or Rite Aids in my oppinion and the staff are R-U-D-E not only at this particular Walgreens but at everyone that I have been too.(and i am not exaggerating) First, my sister and I were craving Doritos and when we got to the register the blunt cashier asked«WERETHESEONSALE? 2FOR $ 2.99? ORDIDYOUNOTNOTICE???» and my sister and I just looked at eachother like wtf? so we said«well, we didnt see any sticker saying anything» and she just shook her head at us like we did something wrong… its JUST Doritos, i dont mind paying full price? what am I going to save 3 cents? Then I went in around Easter to buy some easter egg dying stuff(after my attempt to find anything at CVS failed because it had all been picked through) I picked out 2 different ones, one of them being glittery. The lady at the register said«I DONTKNOWWHYYOUWOULDBUYTHISONE, GLITTERISTHEHERPESOFALLCRAFTS.» … seriously? Ok so you dont want my money? Needless to say I still bought it, but umm, was that comment even necessary? I plan on boycotting all Walgreens. Yes, they tend to be NEWER and more spacious then a CVS or a Rite Aid but after bad experiences at this ONE particular store(not to mention at the other ones Ive been too) I do not think they want/care about customer service or making money. oh and i forgot to mention, their parking lot is ridiculous.

I was actually very happy when this Walgreens opened, so I wish I was here writing a positive review for the store, but sadly that isn’t going to be the case. Instead I’m going to write a review warning people about using this store and their parking lot. AVOIDTHISSTOREANDTHEIRPARKINGLOT! I wasn’t a fan of the Safeway that use to exist in this location, the store was dingy, poorly stocked and they were extremely hostile about the parking lot. As a result I actively avoided the Safeway and their lot. When the Walgreens went in however they seemed to be more realistic about it and put up signs limiting parking to 30 minutes. The store was nice, new, shiny and clean and well stocked. I frequently found myself hitting the Chipotle next door for food, Walgreens for odds and ends including some tasty red vines and my bank on the opposite side. It was great given all three were right next to each other and I could knock out three errands without having to move my car. Apparently however the Walgreens has changed their mind and has hired and extremely aggressive tow company to police their lot. This tow company will tow you and charge you $ 125 for the experience for merely daring to walk into any store but Walgreens first. How did I find this out you may ask? Well I found this out last night when my car was towed literally 5 minutes after arriving, long enough for me to walk into Chipotle to pick up the order I’d placed a half hour ago online before walking over to Walgreens. The towing company was hostile and unapologetic and accused me of stealing by parking in that spot to run two errands. This store has lost a customer and I will tell everyone I can to beware of what basically amounts to extortion on the part of the tow company. I understand the people from the Jammin Java tend to take all of the parking during their concerts, but punishing actual customers is unforgivable. For shame Walgreens, I’ll order my Red Vines online and use the CVS instead. If you absolutely must go here be sure to go into Walgreens first! Though given how hostile the tow company is and the fact that store employees told us this happened to another customer earlier in the day I’m not even sure going into Walgreens first will help.
