Had a problem with our video card and had the pleasure of working with Greg at Triple Check Techs. Within 48 hours he had the problem solved plus tidied up the cabling at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend Triple Check Techs.

. They were very thorough on their diagnostics with my laptop and found that have of the memory was not connected correctly. They also cleaned out the unnecessary crap that was on my hard drive. Very easy to work with and great communication. Price was well worth the value of service received. Highly recommend!

Hands down most friendly IT guy I ever met. My laptop crashed. Greg helped me restore my files quickly and I was on my way again in no time. Totally worth the 30 min drive. The IT guys closer home were asking impossible questions and could not provide the ‘wait while you are being helped’ that Triple Check Techs offered me. Hope I won’t return to Greg any time soon, but if there is something wrong with my computer, I know where to go!

I’m new to the area, so I didn’t have anyone to ask for a referral for my recent computer crash. So I reluctantly used Unilocal to find an IT guy.
I have a custom built desktop pc that’s a few years old and one morning it failed to start. It ended up being a hard drive failure. I dropped my cpu off with these guys and from start to finish the communication we had was awesome. I literally called them 10+ times and they were nearly always available or returned my call immediately.
The price was fair for the work completed, he made sure my new windows software was installed and up and running before he returned it.
Turn around time was great. I dropped it off on a Friday and got it back that Sunday, and he even blew out the 3 years of dust and pet dander that had accumulated inside of it.
Choose these guys if you want to work with an honest professional, pay a fair price, and get a fast turn around.

These guys are awesome. I had a Mac HD that I needed to get data off of and have it transferred to Fat32 (PC) format. Greg picked it up, explained the pricing and took it back to their office. He called me a few times to let me know the progress and then dropped it off a few days later (on a Sunday). He was incredibly nice and did a great job. I got all my data back.
I had called another business that had a minimum of a $ 250 charge (didn’t give me an actual quote), but Greg did it for $ 99.
If I ever need computer work again I’m definitely going back to these guys.
P. S. Greg returned calls very quickly. Big Bonus!

If there was a law against laptop abuse, I would most likely be found guilty on all possible counts.
My second-​hand 7 year old Dell has certainly suffered all manner of indignities during the 5 years I have owned it, and yet it continues to function thanks to the brilliant troubleshooting service of Tim from TCT.
While Tim is not a «miracle-​worker» (he’s a technician, NOT a magician), and clearly there ARE limits to what can be fixed, not only was Tim’s technical expertise gratifying, his personable manner while sorting things out was only exceeded by the reasonable cost of the excellent service provided.
TCT exemplifies all the attributes of what a small independently-​owned business should be. Forget the hustlers at the «big-​box» stores and give them a try. 5 STARS for sure.

My Dad’s laptop was full of viruses and he gave me the task of finding a place to get it fixed. I contacted Triple Check Techs after seeing all the positive reviews. I left a voicemail and got a call back from Greg and explained the laptop issues to him. He then offered the option of me either bringing the computer over to their shop or having Tim come over and pick it up from my location.
I decided to opt for Tim to pick up. We set a time and Tim came by to pick up the laptop. This happened on Thursday afternoon. He was very courteous and before leaving took the time to look at the laptop to see what was going on. He mentioned the possibility of the CMOS battery needing to be changed due to date/​time being inaccurate.
So he took the laptop and I got a call later that evening to go over the programs on the laptop and whether I used them or not. By Saturday morning I got a call from Greg stating the laptop was ready and scheduled a time for Tim to return it. Tim came by with the laptop and mentioned the laptop had 33 viruses and over 2000 traces that were removed. The price of $ 129 was reasonable I thought. Tim had forgotten the power plug and made a separate trip later on to return that.
I’m very satisfied with their level of service and would definitely use them again.

Cannot speak more highly of Greg and Tim. My laptop had a screen that needed to be replaced (which I didn’t consider to be anything really urgent). These guys took it on right away, fixed it over the Memorial Day holiday weekend for a VERY reasonable price, and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The next time I need ANY repairs or issues with any of our computers, I know where I’m going. Thanks so much!

The first time I used Triple Check Techs was to fix a broken laptop screen. I called them up again a few months later to repair my laptop after a NASTY virus took over. Greg quickly took care of it and then helped me back up my files onto an external hard drive. Once again, I noticed the difference between using a small company versus a big box. I was updated every step of the way, given options, and wasn’t pressured into spending more money than I could afford. Fast turnaround too. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

Can’t say enough good things about this company. We were having major problems with our computer and finally decided to call someone to have it checked out. It was infected with Malware and IE kept freezing up making it almost impossible to use the internet. Checked Unilocal to find a computer repair company and Triple Check Techs stood out big time.
We called on a Tuesday and were pleased to hear that they provide pick up and return service! You can imagine my delight when I realized I would not have to spend time waiting in a long line somewhere. Greg arrived as promised the next morning to pick up my computer and outlined the fees upfront so there were no surprises later. To my surprise, the work was completed already on Thursday morning. They reviewed all of the work that was done and encouraged us to call if we had any problems or questions.
Triple Check Techs are simply fantastic. The cost was very reasonable compared to other repair companies. The most important thing is they knew what they were doing.
We highly recommend them. They are GREAT! It is not every day you find a company that goes the extra mile the way they do. They truly customer oriented and strive to do the best job possible.
Please call them first. You will be pleasantly surprised.

I called these guys because my Dell laptop had an issue with its power plug and they spent 10 minutes helping me figure out what to do even after explaining that my particular laptop is known to have lots of problems and he doesn’t work on them anymore. I forgot the gentleman’s name, but he suggested turning the laptop on after removing the battery and plugging the laptop in to its charger. This worked (!) and confirmed that the issue was in fact one with the battery which I could remedy by ordering one online and spending nada on a repair. He also referred me to a repair service that could handle the power supply if in fact that turned out to be the problem. Next time I need hardware serviced I will definitely call these guys again, as I’d be happy to be able to actually give them business.

My laptop refused to start up on a Saturday afternoon, and of the 4 or 5 local businesses I found, these were the only guys who picked up the phone. (One other place had an answering service.) It sounds like the business is run out of the various techs’ houses; they prefer to pick up your computer and the fee for doing so ($ 69) is applied to the service. Tim came by a little later than he’d said (well, it was a Saturday) and was polite and professional. He called Monday with a price; computer was repaired the next day and dropped off where I work. There’s a 30-​day warranty for most work. Included in the $ 190 or so price: removing a virus, providing advice on how I got it, a reminder that our internet provider gives customers free antivirus software, a complimentary data backup, and pickup/​dropoff. Hope I won’t be back soon, but I’ll call these folks again if I have troubles.

Last week my work computer, which had always been a bit slow, just became unbearable, as even basic tasks like email started to cause program freezing and shutdowns. I found Triple Check Techs through Unilocal and called them in the afternoon to see if they could come take a look. They were available to come same day if needed for a free consultation but I scheduled for the next morning.
The next morning, Tim and Greg showed up and took a look at my computer. They quickly gave me a diagnosis (a bunch of unnecessary programs running and some other things that could be quickly fixed) and I asked them to go ahead and repair it. In about an hour my computer was running as fast as I’d ever seen it. Their prices were also quite reasonable and I was glad to pay so that I didn’t have to watch that hourglass appear every time I did anything on my computer!
They are also available to take on more ambitious IT solutions for businesses such as setting up networks and new computers. Based on their speed, responsiveness and quality service I will definitely consider working with them in the future on bigger projects.
