History

Established in 1986.

In January 1986 the Maria Collection Fine Jewelry was established. Starting as an independent jewelry department located in Patriciana Distinctive Gifts and Bridal Registry. The Collection carried European hand-​engraved wedding bands and Italian crafted karat gold jewelry.

Customer confidence inspired The Collection to pursue carrying diamonds. Always seeking première lines, The Collection established a business relationship with Lazare Kaplan and promoted ideal-​cut diamonds. Building on the foundation of integrity, quality and style, The Collection continued its development by promoting designer jewelry.

With it’s 2^nd store expansion to Vineland in 1999 The Maria Collection took on the name Diamonds & Design — The Maria Collection.

This January will mark The Collection’s 23^rd Anniversary. Although time has passed, the philosophy of «One Look… See the Difference,» in quality and style continues to inspire them to be the ideal choice for diamonds and distinctive fine jewelry.

As a member of the American Gem Society whose motto is consumer protection since 1934, we understand that you the customer deserve to be treated with respect.

We use the proper terminology for our gemstones and understand the differences between natural, synthetic and imitation stones.

Our merchandise is fairly priced. Not marked up with the intention of offering a discount at will.

We believed in full disclosure of all pertinent facts regarding the origin or enhancements of gemstones.
