Academic tutoring, grades 3 –12, including math (grade-level and enrichment), reading, English language, and foreign languages. We also offer test preparation (SAT, SSAT, HiSET, ACCUPLACER) and college application assistance. Summer hours by reservation.
History
Established in 2015.
CNL MV opened its doors February 7th, 2015. It is a homegrown business on Martha’s Vineyard, started by a University professor. It’s staff include University professors and former public school teachers, all with graduate degrees, and all living on Martha’s Vineyard.
Meet the Business Owner
Alice K.
Business Owner
Dr. Kyburg has a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from the University of Rochester and an M.Ed. from UMASS Amherst. She was a High School Math teacher in Massachusetts and is currently a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She has had two passionate interests her entire life: mathematics and cognitive science (all things related to the mind). She has finally integrated these interests in the Center for New Learning MV.
