We also offer air duct cleaning and water damage restoration services with our state of the art Tes structural drying equipment we can get your home or business dried faster than anyone in the world!
History
Established in 1997.
A Better Image Restorations was founded by Dan Sprinkel, with the simple idea of giving people reliable quality carpet cleaning services. That philosophy is now being carried over to our water damage restoration department. In 2004 long time childhood friend and coworker Jason Gignac was made partner and has developing our water damage restoration & mold mitigation department. In 2008 we became the first company in southeast Virginia to offer TES a high speed structural drying system, which allows us to dry structures in 1⁄3 of the time it takes conventional ways. Also we can dry many things in place reducing reconstruction costs and most of all it gets you back into your home in only 1 – 2 days! Other water extraction methods would have your home in disarray for 5 – 6 days plus reconstruction time and it may be a month before you get back to normal.

Business Owner
Jason started his career at Service Master of Chesapeake in 1992 working with Dan. While at Service Master Jason learned fire/water damage restoration and the finer points of carpet and upholstery cleaning. After leaving Service Master he pursued a career in the restaurant business and quickly became a general manager of a restaurant before deciding that the restoration business is where he wanted to be. He started working for A Better Image in 1998. Jason has been certified by the I.I.C.R.C. in Residential carpet cleaning, commercial carpet maintenance, upholstery cleaning, leather cleaning, stone, tile & grout cleaning, fire/water damage restoration. He has also been certified as a journeyman textile cleaner, and journeyman fire restorer. He is a graduate of both Dri-eaz University and the Reets Drying Academy. He has also recently been certified in mold remediation.
