I love Astro DJs and cannot say enough wonderful things about them! I would hire them over and over again! I want to have another wedding just to hire them again!

We used astro entertainment as our wedding DJ and rented their photo-​booth. I was very impressed with everything. Our DJ was Danny Gray– and he was great! Super energetic and played to the crowd.
Have you ever been to a wedding where everyone starts to get into the music, and the DJ changes the song? That’s the worst! Our experience was nothing like that. We danced all night to excellent music. We made a playlist for cocktail hour and dinner because we’re a little picky, but the dance music was all him. He also MCed for us and had guests involved at every opportunity
As far as the photo-​booth, I only have positive things to say. First of all, it’s huge. I think we fit 8 – 10 people at one time. I loved the video message after each photo session. When we got the DVD they sent, I honestly laughed so hard I was crying. Of course I also loved the book of photos they gave us that night, but the best part was that everyone in the picture was given a copy (no limit on prints!). I definitely recommend astro entertainment!

I can honestly say that this was the biggest disappointment of my entire wedding day. To start with, when we booked our DJ, I asked who our exact DJ will be. I asked this often in the 11 months I was engaged. But they gave me the run around until a few weeks before our wedding, which was inconvenient because they knew we were coming in from out of town and assigning one this late made it impossible to meet our DJ before the wedding.
Then, when I tried to contact the DJ, responding to the email he originally sent, he refused to email us back. Finally, 2 weeks before the wedding, we get ahold of each other and he liked the sound of his own voice more than mine because he refused to let me talk and refused to listen to my requests.
I spoke with him twice on the phone and at least two times via email stressing the importance of specific things we did and didn’t want during our wedding. He didn’t listen at all. First he didn’t introduce my second maid of honor who walked in with the best man and first maid of honor, but instead introduced a bridesmaid as my maid of honor, even though she entered after the two maids of honor. This was AFTER me stressing that I had two and they’d be walking in together with the best man.
The worse that he did was during our first dance. I stressed to him that if our introduction song (which was the same as our first dance) ran too long, to rewind the song to a specific time. We had rehearsed our choreographed dance starting at that time. He didn’t do it. So we ended up cutting our choreographed dance in half.
Then before dinner, he played a game with my guests even after he specifically asked me if I wanted this. I said ‘no.’ That wasn’t what he wanted to hear, I guess, because he proceeded to do it anyway. So my wedding planner overheard me angrily complaining to my husband and she quickly made him stop playing the gameshow games.
We also requested that the parent dances be cut short since my husband’s mom had recently broken her tailbone but didn’t want to miss out on her chance to dance with her son. So we asked to have both dances cut short to save her from suffering too much, as well as to give us more time for group dancing. He played the entire songs for both dances, ignoring this specific request.
As for the group dancing, it was made known to us by several of our guests (all not knowing each other) that their dance requests were being ignored. I would go to each table and ask «why aren’t you dancing!!!» Four or five of my guests replied with, «we asked for a song to be played but he has yet to play it.» This is frustrating since he seemed to only be trying to appeal to the older crowd. It wasn’t until I stood over the DJ and stared him down ON the dance floor, that he began to play some of the requested songs.
This bride felt like all her special requests were ignored and that the DJ was going to do whatever he felt like doing. This was the only vendor we had an issue with — the others were so easy to work with, so I don’t think that I was the issue. I would not recommend this company.

We hired Astro Entertainment for our wedding and our DJ was Mark. Man talk about entertainment! Mark was awesome playing the right music at the right time getting out on the dance floor with everybody and making our wedding just that much better it was just non stop fun! Mark is by no means a amateur DJ he knows what he’s doing! If we ever need another DJ we will most definitely be going back to Astro Entertainment and asking for Mark!

I hired Astro Entertainment once again for DJ, Casino, Lighting and Photobooth and 5 star all the way.
Jerritt the DJ was amazing and the attendees loved the trivia games and scavenger hunt and the music kept them dancing and entertained for 4 hours during their holiday party. They assisted me with the raffle prizes and calling out the winners.
Greg made sure the lighting and everything was up to my standards, which were and I am very particular and it was perfect. Never a doubt in my mind when it comes to Astro Entertainment and they do delver.

Love these guys and gals ! I have been using them for command holiday parties (at various commands) for 10 years. They give awesome prices to their military clients and always deliver the fun!
Just be sure to let them know what level of interaction you want — just stand there and play the music or lots of games, etc. They will work with you either way!

I hired Danny from Astro DJ for my wedding and he did a phenomenal job!!! I recommend him to anyone. He made my reception sooooo much fun!!!

We had a DJ from Astro at our wedding and it was an absolute hit. They played all of the right music and kept the groom and I extremely informed and involved. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ.

I was responsible for setting up my command’s holiday party this year and seriously struck gold with Astro Entertainment.
Jay was super friendly and helpful. He was also very understanding that we were trying to put on a nice event on a budget.
The DJ for our event, Kurt, was really easy to work with and I would recommend him to any other command in a heartbeat. He had a few crowd-​interactive games that were really fun and I think kept the pace of the evening going when normally people would have started to become bored. Worth every cent of the cost, which, considering that we are in holiday season was reasonable.
We have used Astro Entertainment for the past two years to DJ our holiday parties and I see absolutely no reason why we would stray from them in the future. They are consummate professionals and great to work with!
