I have never really been to any type of medical specialist, so I was wary of going to a foot doctor. I have been having alot of pain in my ankle/lower leg ever since my last half marathon, and knew it was finally time to get a more expert opinion, and my primary care doc set me up here with Dr. Pfeiffer. The office is in a bit of an odd location(attached to a Kroger), however, its very nice looking inside and out. The main waiting room is for all three practices in the building(an urgent care place, physical therapy, and the podiatrist). Check in was a breeze; I was stuck behind a much older lady that was taking FOREVER to find her insurance cards, but the Receptionist was extremely nice and even took the time to help her try and find them… I’ve seen many Receptionists that would have been rude to this woman, but she was very kind, and allowed me to step over to the side to get my necessary paperwork. Overall, it was the best«new patient» appointment I’ve ever had; they are on the ball. I was seen fairly quickly, and honestly the girl that took me back was the most negative part of the whole experience. She was not friendly at all, and made me feel a bit out of place(as if I should know what to do in a place I have never been before). Thankfully Dr. Pfeiffer was GREAT and although she seemed rushed, she still gave me the feeling she knew her stuff, and was willing to give me the answers I needed. After some quick xrays(again, a very fast process!), I was given a boot and headed home. I honestly expected to be sitting in this office for hours and I think I was in and out in less than one. They run a very efficient office.

Obviously no one want to ever have to go to the podiatrist! I love this group. Dr. Pfeiffer is just THE best. She is so sweet, and patient. She genuinely cares about her patients, and will answer any question you have. She doesn’t rush you. She truly has your best interest in mind. I will be sad when my foot is better!

I hate the doctor. But I love running more than I hate the doctor. So I saw Dr. Rayno to take care of some plantar fasciitis. My friend recommended Dr. Rayno and gave him stellar reviews(she also thought he was hot, but he’s not my type). I was a little concerned when I walked in because I think I was the only patient there under 60. However, I was seen without much of a wait and the appt went very well. Dr. Rayno took a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions while giving me helpful training suggestions. He did not try to push me to get new orthotics. He said the ones I am using are fine. I was fully expecting he’d push the sale on me. I really like a doctor who spends time with his patients and listens.
