Jimmy’s Steak & Seafood House

I’ve seen this place hundreds of times and finally was roped in to checking the place out. An acquaintance I was to have lunch with spoke highly of the place so I was open to giving the joint a shot.
The customer service was terrific. My waitress refilled my drink four times and was always prompt. The food was okay though. I tried the steak sandwich that the person I was having lunch with suggested. Nothing special. Not good. Not bad. It was large in size and served with a hefty amount of french fries.
It’s definitely a local neighborhood restaurant and from what I understand has been around for a while. I’d maybe consider going back if I were in the area because chains surround the shopping center where this restaurant is located. But I didn’t see so much potential in the food to drive out of my way to give this place another shot. then again, there was three of us at lunch and we all ordered the same item!!!

Wanted to try it because it was close by and a mom and pop shop. I now know we won’t ever return unfortunately. Never like to dog a place but they need help. It felt really old, catering to the few loyal client from the past. The wait was forever with very little people. The food? Wow. We didn’t have the appetite for the few things that were on the menu and really wanted to leave but felt bad because we already ordered water. Should have left. We ended up with sandwiches??? I had a club and it was weak. Basic sandwich your kid can slap together. It was cut nice. The texture of the meat was totally packaged and havd the feel like bologna. Horrible. My wife got the turkey panini… it was all bread that was weird, it wasn’t pressed at all, and the meat was like fake turkey bologna. Gas all day and felt sick to my stomach. Totally didn’t eat it. Fries were in old grease. You could taste it. Jimmy chips were the best thing but were cold from the wait. The grilled cheese looked like they burnt the outside and never got to melting the cheese. Just bad. They really need Restaurant Impossible to help them. Sorry guys

The food was OK. I order broiled seafood and the shrimp wasn’t done. The fish was ok.
Customer Service was terrific!

I stopped eating here a little over a year ago. This place use to be on our normal visit run, but the place has declined in quality and quanity. Portions got smaller, prices got larger and taste got weaker. Only saving grace was their soup, which also took a dive. Sorry to see that happen. Gonna have to really change for us to return there.
