I miss this place so much! Lynnhaven mall needs it back! It was my favorite place to get phở noodles EVER.

This place when I first went looked like a hole in the wall, but boy was I surprised. Time after time I’ve gone and the food is freshly prepared, quick, and the service is so friendly! I usually order the noodle combo that comes with a drink, eggroll, and soup for $ 9. The food comes with side condiments like limes, jalapeños, onions, chopped green onions, and cilantro to sprinkle on top with a variety of sauces. I asked the owner and he said they will be moving outside [where to idk] once the mall clears out the top side of the floor. But I’ll surely miss it, but also know you can order ramen too as well. Definitely a repeat customer!

It’s worth the price. Seriously delicious and authentic noodles. Also a lot of variety. That being the intro, man this place is amazing! It’s this mom and pop corner place, so I don’t know what it’s doing in a mall food court, but this tops pho79 any day. Totally authentic, and a bit pricy, but totally worth it for the serving size and quality. The menu is small also, but again doesn’t make it any less amazing. Plan to be back and try everything at least once.

I love the #9 Special. I have eaten at other phở places and you get a lot of meat with this dish. Eating here is one of the reasons I don’t mind driving from Norfolk to go to Lynnhaven Mall. :)

It’s really nice to find a non-chain restaurant anywhere, even more so in the mall food court. Duck noodle soup and goi cuon here are awesome.

When you crave udon noodles the last place you should go to is a mall food court. Except for maybe in Hawaii or Japan or a bus terminal in Korea(best Udon noodles ever!!!). We were in the mall to go to the movies and got a little hungry. Nothing really sounded appetizing but the udon soup seemed pretty harmless. There really isn’t much to say about it. The soup was tasteless. The tempura vegetables were coated in a thick breading(not a light crispy tempura batter) and just didn’t taste all that great. They didn’t have a great selection of veges either. I don’t really eat a lot of fried shrimp so I gave them to my husband. He seemed to like them enough though I still have a major issue with someone calling something tempura when it totally is not. There’s not a lot to choose from in this mall food court. There might be other items here that are better than the udon but I’m not really sure.

Whenever I’m visiting Virginia Beach, the Noodle Shop is one of my favorite lunch stops. They do a good job with the spring roll, which is my favorite.
