Welcome to Salon OH. All of our stylist specialize in color and cutting. We continue our education to stay current with all the upcoming trends.

We offer spa services such as Classic and shellac manicures and pedicures.

Relax upstairs with our massage therapist. Staci specializes in deep tissue, prenatal and reflexology.

Established in 2010.

Salon OH has been a part of the Chicks Beach community since 2010. We believe in taking great care of our clients and staff while creating a home style feel with an upscale flare.

Business Owner

Meet Olivia. Wife and mother of two young Children, she also works most days behind the chair. In 2010 she opened Salon OH to create a fun and inviting work environment for talented stylists to come and developed their craft. We are please to say that is exactly what has happened. We are fully staffed with the most amazing stylists in Virginia Beach. We enjoy in salon education as well as on site classes. We strive to always inspire our stylists to continue producing current looks that translate to everyday styles.

I have been getting my hair done here for a couple years now and LOVE it! I have done everything from ombré, highlights, and all over color and it comes out looking amazing. I also have done the Brazilian blowout which makes my hair sleek and smooth.
Kelly Ashton really listens to what I want done and makes it happen. She always explains what she is going to do and does it in a timely manner. I highly recommend seeing Kelly!

Just moved to the area and so happy I found this gem! Darcie was wonderful and got me back to the base color I wanted. Great location, and everyone was friendly… definitely feels like a neighborhood spot.

Nothing bothers me more than a stylist not doing what you asked for, and that’s exactly what happened here. I said I wanted to go dark all over to cover my ombré. My roots were done with a level 3 and a glaze (aka toner) was sprayed over the rest… which fades quickly. When I spoke to the manager she said she would have done the same thing… On that note I would have just went SOMEWHERE ELSE that would have done what I wanted!
I was also charged 25 bucks for a blow dry which I didn’t know about. There is no way in hell I’d pay that much for a so so blow dry! I left the salon with dye all over my forehead and around my ears (which was devastating since I had a date that night… It didn’t come off for days!) The manger didn’t give a crap when I complained which was a HUGE disappointment and horrible customer service! 85 bucks down the drain. Don’t waste your time or your money, go somewhere else!

After living in the VA area for months, I have been very hesitant about looking for a place to cut my hair. After much research, I decided on Salon Oh! because of the great reviews. I was able to book an appointment with Anna the same day that I called. I did not know what I wanted exactly but I knew I wanted to keep my length. Upon my arrival, I was politely greeted and was offered some coffee. After a few minutes, I was able to sit down with Anna and I showed her some ideas I had and she did the rest, plus an amazing eyebrow wax! She did such a great job on my hair, keeping the length but added some nice layers to it as well. I highly recommend her for natural styles. I will be coming here again and for sure will be seeing Anna!

As a Pacific Islander woman my hair is my glory. 2013 was the last time I’ve had a legit «life changing» haircut and with 2ft of hair, I needed a change. I’m entering my 20s in the fall and wanted something significant for my last summer before a new decade and new phase, as I’m off to college.
After obsessing over Pinterest for a long bob, I bit the bullet and got one! Salon Oh is friendly, clean, and they know their stuff! I called at 3 and someone was available at 5:30 which was perfect! Got booked with Allison and she did a FABULOUS job! I’m so thankful I got someone who understands my thick, wavy, poofy mess and gave me exactly what I was looking for. When I showed her my pictures, Amanda listened and gave me realistic expectations. I feel like a weight has been lifted (literally) and I can’t wait to show off my new do!

Just had my hair done by stylist Anna. It turned out great and exactly how I wanted. I had a cut, roots colored, highlights around the face and blow dry. It took almost 2 hours which is the amount it should take (I have long and thick hair). I’ve been to other local salons and the last place I went to took 3 ½ hours!
This place is right off Shore Drive and easy to find. I love the building and the vintage mixed with modern interior design. It’s very spacious but intimate and the employees were very friendly.
Appointment making was easy (no machine when you call) and my stylist had great time management and I will definitely be back again.

I think every woman wants to find «her» hair salon when she moves to a new area. One she goes to every time she needs a cut; where her stylist knows her name and they can talk about all the girly details. If you’re still looking, definitely give Salon Oh a try.
I had no wait time (I also had an appointment), but I was invited into the stylist’s chair as soon as I walked in. A beverage was offered as soon as I sat down. Anna paid close attention to what I wanted and gave me exactly that. She was very friendly and professional. My shampoo, blow dry, haircut, and eyebrow wax took all of an hour, and it was only $ 40 for the haircut and $ 10 to get my eyebrows done! My hair looks and feels awesome; Anna showed me what products she used AND how to do it myself at home. I’m looking forward to coming back for my next trim!

I tried this lovely salon out, and I’m so glad I did! I received a cut and color with Anna, and she was fantastic! She listened to me and provided precise and professional results. Anna is very educated in her craft, which I find to be extremely important! (And she gives a fabulous shampoo). The salon is very cute with a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. I really like the Bumble and Bumble products they use as well. I am very pleased over all and will be returning on a regular basis :)

Ok so this place and haired read Olivia was recommend to me by a friend. It’s always hard to find someone we to cut your hair when ur so use to one person. But I took a chance. Let me tell you it was worth it. Olivia is amazing!!! She knows what she is doing and if you ask her advise she will tell you. It’s a great spot. Staff are nice, atmosphere is welcoming. So if your looking for someone who’s know what there are doing go see Olivia she rocks!!!

I just got my hair cut by Rachel today and she was awesome! I am very particular about my hair. I lived in Atlanta and would return there to visit my sister and have my hair done at the same time because I could not find anyone here that I liked. Anyway, I decided to bite the bullet and find someone local since it’s been 7 months since I’ve had a haircut. Rachel was amazing! She listened to everything I said I wanted and she did a great job! The place is not too pretentious and it’s a very comfortable atmosphere. I really recommend it!
