Getting my free 24oz smoothie that I got from the Belly app. No complaints here. ;-)

I love walking into tropical smoothie. it’s kind of like subway, in the way that they have their own unique smell. i got a chicken blt Flatbread and it was awesome. i added some mayo and threw a banana smoothie on my order. i am a happy camper now. on my way to nail pro with mama for our girls day. just got done at the image where I ran into a fellow Unilocaler that recognized me from my review haha! Go grab a healthy smoothie guys, I love that I don’t feel like I ate a pound of grease after eating here I feel energized and ready for some more fun! Great service and a happy face;)

Went for lunch and chose half of the turkey guacamole sandwich with the detox island green smoothie. Not really a fan of either, but the meal was very cheap which was why I gave it three stars. You really cannot find this large of a smoothie for this price anywhere else. But my sandwich was bland-there was hardly any guacamole on it and the smoothie tasted more like ice than a fruit smoothie. I was looking for a quick healthy meal– maybe some of the other calorie loaded options are better– who knows. I used to go to the Tropical Smoothie at the oceanfront and I just remember the sandwiches and wraps being so yummy! They used Boars Head meats and cheeses. It doesn’t appear they do this anymore unfortunately.

The smoothies are excellent and most of them are vegan too! But the most exciting discovery I made regarding Tropical Smoothie was when my husband was ordering a sandwich and pointed out a little sign that said they could substitute Beyond Meat chicken into any sandwich, wrap, and flat, for no extra cost! Most of them come with cheese or ranch or something but they’re very easy to order as vegan. It’s been a relief to find this place since moving here from California.

This is one of the best smoothie places I’ve been to! Tropical Smoothie Café is the perfect place to stop for a quick lunch, and their selection is top notch. I stopped in an got the Thai chicken wrap with the blue lagoon smoothie. Luckily, I got in before the rush. and trust me, that line builds up fast. Granted, they worked very quickly and brought my food out to me as soon as it was finished. Everything was so fresh! Crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and perfectly cooked chicken. To my surprise, the smoothie was huge! You definitely get more than your money’s worth. I could barely finish the smoothie. Basically this place is great, whether it be for a quick sandwich/wrap, or for a blended treat. Everything generally seems rather healthy! For the smoothies you can add all sorts of boosts. I always go for an energy boost and it’s well worth it. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming with all the choices because they all seem so good, but I’m definitely not complaining here!

Although I don’t come here too often I have to say their wraps are delicious! The smoothies are obviously great too! I’m a huge fan of the Totally Turkey wrap which consists of turkey, swiss, tomatoes, romaine, light ranch & a garlic herb tortilla! Yes! This location is located in the Renaissance Place plaza and there are plenty of options inside, but if you’re looking for something healthy, this is where you’ll want to go. The plaza and outside of the restaurant are very clean and it’s a rather upscale location in my opinion. I used to get a smoothie called Peaches and Silk or something along those lines. I didn’t see it on the menu, but it was fantastic! This is a delicious place and my wife and daughter like it a lot. I’m not the healthiest eater, so you know I come for them!

You can say I’m addicted to this place. I usually get a Health Nut, Lean Machine, Muscle Blaster or Island Green without sugar/splenda with whey protein. The new teas are pretty tasty too. For a good bite try the Wasabi Roast Beef or Turkey Bacon.

My daughter and I have started coming here alot, as she loves her«smoovies» on the weekend as a special treat:) I always get the Health Nut with Soy and I’ve found that while alot of places tend to really screw this one up on occasion, this particular location ALWAYS gets it perfect. They area also always very friendly.

Light(ish) lunch today. Chipotle Chicken Flatbread and a Sunrise Sunset Smoothie. The smoothie was good stuff, the flatbread was pretty blah. The place seemed pretty clean, the staff was friendly and service was quick. I like the refreshed faded posters in the hall. Creative(cough) use of available materials.

I made a quick stop here for a nice light lunch. I started with the Pineapple explosion and the southwestern wrap and it was off the rocket! it was so good that I wanted to just eat eat eat… The service was quick and the staff were nice. Didnt stay there for too long to give a long review but I would def come back and try more smoothie flavors.

I hit up smoothie places every now and then, but it’s hard to find a good one that I like. The smoothies from street fairs in NYC are a bit too icy with not enough fruit, while Jamba Juice doesn’t taste as ‘natural’ to me. So while down here for a long weekend and after a long day of getting drenched by the sun on the beach, my girlfriend and I looked up the closest smoothie shop and drove right over. There was never a long line to order, and it only took us a minute or two to get our smoothie. We got a total of 3 smoothies over the course of a couple of days while we were there, and I have to say that all of them were great. I got the Sunrise Sunset(strawberry, mango, blueberry, and orange) one day, as well as the Acai Berry Blast the other time. These drinks are huge for their price(at least compared to NY); we got a tall 24-ounce bottle for $ 4.29. They are huge, but unlike other smoothies I’ve had, they don’t stuff you and leave you without any stomach space for eating later on. The fruit flavors are very rich as well. This is definitely a nice stop on the way to the beach(it’s not too far from I-264), and it’s a cool drink that will keep you refreshed when it’s burning outside.

After tasting Tropical Smoothie’s concoctions, I went out, inspired and bought a blender. A really nice one at that. Somehow, mine just can’t compare. I’ve been going to Tropical Smoothie for years now and think I may have a problem. They just do health conscious food right. The smoothies are almost meals themselves and are fantastic anytime of the day. The location by the Virginia Beach courthouses has a happy hour every weekday morning and all low fat smoothies are 50% off. I have a rotation of either Blimey Limey, Jetty Punch or Tropi-colada. Tropical Smoothie makes great wraps and sandwiches. The veggie wrap and soup of the day are great because somehow they fill you up without reaching a point of no return. The great thing about this local chain is there are enough to visit twice in one day, no shame.

Hands down, most delicious way to consume your daily intake of fresh fruit, and check the box for a healthy, easy breakfast. I’m not a big breakfast person, but I’ve started to pay a bit more attention to the most important meal of the day as my fabulous metabolism isn’t as fabulous as it once used to be. Peanut paradise is also my top choice, but I add some strawberries, blue berries and acai plus a multivitamin and soy protein powder. Liquid deliciousness when I’m on the go…

This place kicks Jamba Juice’s ass. It took me about 20 minutes to decide on what to get since the smoothie possibilities are endless. Of course you don’t want to get the wrong one then try your friends and wind up being sad with your selection. That’s like a kick to the shins. No one wants that. I went with the peanut paradise smoothie that was recommended to me that included peanut butter bananas mixed in with protein shake powder. It was amazing. I’ve tried other fruity ones but the peanut paradise still holds my vote as being the best. Their smoothies are basically meals so i never get around to ordering food. But I’m always satisfied with my smoothie and return here every time while I’m in Virginia Beach, its my must have! Sky*
