Specialties
Kaizen Martial Arts is a small, family-oriented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school. We provide a very traditional, zen-like atmosphere without the intimidation factor common in larger gyms. We offer a FREE two-week trial period to all new students. We also offer a monthly discount to all active duty military personnel and first responders. We have a FREE Women’s Club in which women learn basic self-defense as well as jiu-jitsu in an all-female (except for the instructor) environment. One of the things that makes Kaizen unique is that the primary instructor for ALL classes from beginner to advanced is a black belt, Professor Phillip Wyman. Classes for adults and kids are available 6 days a week, so please see our schedule for details. If these times do not work with your schedule, or if you want more personalized attention, just call to schedule your private martial arts lesson! Contracts are never required, so you don’t have to worry if you are unable to continue training.
History
Established in 2014.
Kaizen Martial Arts had its grand opening in July 2014, and regular classes started in August 2014. It is a new school, but it is part of a well-established and respected jiu-jitsu association, Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu. Also, Professor Wyman has been a martial artist since he was a child and has taught martial arts for most of his adult life.
