Established in 2010.

Wermers Design & Architecture is founded by Charles Wermers. He worked in New York for 15 years with some of the best Architecture Firms in the country, including rockwell group and Ike, Kligerman Barkley. Charles returned to Hampton Roads in 2002 to raise a family and join Wermers Development, a family owned real estate development company, as director of design. Mr. Wermers saw great potential in the growth and prosperity of Hampton Roads and wanted to contribute his design expertise to that growth. Many successful projects and communities were completed by Wermers Development including the Rotunda Building (Norfolk, VA), St. Paul’s place (Norfolk, VA) & The Preserve (Chesapeake, VA). In 2010 started Wermers Design & Architecture to pursue his true passions, Design & Architecture.
