History

Established in 2013.

Dalek Computer Services was started by a long time IT professional in the summer of 2013. Gabe Macias is an A+ and Network+ certified technician, with over 8-​years professional IT experience.

In his career he noticed a lot of technicians lacked the ability to be personable. For some reason they enjoyed «tech-​talking» people in order to feel superior. Because of this most people hated to call the IT department. So he did something different. He began talking to the clients in a manner they could understand, and removing all of the unnecessary technical filler others liked to throw around. The result? Clients began calling him directly. Even on the weekends! And that’s what led to the creation of Dalek Computer Services.

Our company culture here is simple. Treat the customer’s with full respect and never talk down to them. There is no need for a customer to understand all of the latest tech lingo in order to get a simple repair. Their only job is to be happy with the service.

I am an 8-​year IT professional, with A+ & Network+ certifications. I am very geeky and computers are my life. From software to hardware to emerging technology, I love it all. In my wonderful career I’ve held many different positions; Helpdesk Analyst, Desktop Technician, Network Administrator, Database Administrator, and most recently, Technical Analyst II.

Throughout my career one thing has remained constant. That is the way I treat my clients. To me they’re more like friends who are also students. So I make it my job to be sure they’re happy and fully clear on what exactly is going on. In fact, some of my clients have learned so much from me, they’re now able to do simple repairs on their own :)
