History

Established in 2013.

Layne Rodrigues, owner and certified instructor, wanted to bring her passion for Pilates, dance, and physical fitness to the Central Valley after living in Los Angeles as a professional dancer. There the idea of Flow Studios was born. Flow Studios offers an alternative exercise program, understanding the variety of changes that our bodies go through and how difficult it can be to maintain workouts with a busy schedule. Rodrigues uses compassion derived from her own experiences to inspire, motivate, and encourage her clients. Our goal at Flow Studios is to strive for personal best while creating a sense of balance in order to become stronger, healthier, and happier people.

Meet the Business Owner

Layne R.

Business Owner

Layne Rodrigues was born and raised in Hanford, California. A mover by nature, she started dancing at the young age of two at her mother’s dance studio. There she traveled and competed with dance until she graduated from high school, eventually signing with the Movement Talent Agency, (MTA) a commercial and dance agency based in Los Angeles. After high school Rodrigues attended Loyola Marymount University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her BA in Dance.

During her time at LMU she suffered many injuries from the rigorous curriculum and discovered Pilates as a form of rehabilitation. After realizing how helpful Pilates was to her recovery she decided to continue training in order to work out more efficiently. This led her to become a certified instructor, so she could share the benefit of Pilates with others. For her certification she went through Body Arts and Science International (BASI), one of the most respected Pilates organizations in the world.
