AT&T

Had an appointment to install Internet and tv at 9−11am.it is now almost 5pm. Called twice and they said technician will come… this is becoming a nightmare.

I recently went into this AT&T location on Wednesday, May 11^th, to buy a new phone case since the one I ordered off Amazon was pretty cheap. I was a little hesitant to go in to this location because of the reviews I read on here, but I figured, «Screw it, I’m just getting a phone case, that’s all.» So I went in and both employees out were both busy with people at the moment but I didn’t pay much mind to it, I was just here to get a case and leave.
Mind you, it was pretty busy when I went in.
But when one of them was free they asked if I needed any help today and I just said I was looking for a phone case and she directed me to both places that had the cases I was looking for, and when she left I checked some other cases and not too much later the other employee asked if I needed anything and I told him the same thing.
When I finally picked a case, the guy offered to put the case on the phone for me, but I guess he needed to go do something else so he asked the girl who was free to take care of my transaction and I asked her if it was okay if I could compare cases since I started to feel really skeptical of the one I picked. The other one was already on my phone but she said it was totally fine and went and grabbed the other one I was looking for and even asked me if I saw this other color she pulled out and asked if I wanted to see that one too. I said no thanks and she seemed happy to help and didn’t complain or anything even though I felt like I was being picky or trivial things like a phone case.
I just wanted to leave this review here as 5 stars to really point out that the sales associates were performing the opposite of what the majority of reviews are on here. They were pretty helpful and great!

Went to this store, ordered new uverse service and boom $ 150 extra on my bill with fees they never told me about. It’d be nice to know when your getting the service that you are going to be charged all of this money so when the bill comes it doesn’t slap you in the face like «oh hey here I am, you didn’t know about me but you’ll have to pay me wether you like it or not». Train your employees or at least be HONEST

The worse att experience I’ve ever had. I wanted to call before coming in to check and see if they had a replacement SIM card in inventory. You simply CANNOT reach the by phone. Tried for 2 days. When I went in I found out why. They’re all chatting away like its a holiday and serving customers with the speeds you’d find in most 3^rd world countries. Definitely «siesta» time at this store. After waiting an hour I was told that they can’t help me. What a screwed up store.
I’m not alone I my views. If you don’t believe me read some of the other reviews.
On top of this the staff are as thick as 2 planks.

This place is great!!! You treat them Iike ass holes well you really won’t get what you want. That’s how it is and that’s how it goes. Anyways. No doubt this is my favorite corporate store everyone is very friendly. I always thought this place sucked but In the end it actually turned out great! If you want the Best CS REQUEST ROSA! SHE IS Calidad! My (Quality)FAST, FRIENDLY, AND Gorgeous my FAVORITE. She is one of a kind! No doubt about it !

This morning I went into the store for the Iphone 6S launch, and the sale rep Adan made the whole process seamless. He made sure I knew everything about the iphone. The store manager, Alberto even came over to my table to make sure everything was taken care of or if I needed anything. I can’t tell you how much I recommend this store, and the interactions I had with the rep and the manager. They get an A+, and I would tell my friends to go to that store because I was properly taken care of.

I have been here for so long that I can feel each individual one of my hairs greying as I type this.
The stupid girl when I had called earlier never alerted me that I’d need the account holder present in order to purchase a phone (without a contract. Just a phone. Over six hundred dollars, no contract). I had told her that initially.
Naturally I drove here without any warning that I’d have to go back home, wait for the account holder, then drive back. We got here like an hour ago & were placed on a wait list as number two.
Sounds simple enough. I’m very patient. It’s been over an hour and we are still number two.
Had I known it’d take over an hour to not even move on the wait list I would have put myself on there four hours ago when I called.
I’m getting really pissed and impatient. They told me it would take a total of less than ten minutes to process my entire transaction.
I do not understand why it’s taking what seems like fucking eternity for like five or six employees to finish O N E customer in over an hour.
I should have drove to the Apple Store and supported them rather than these uneducated and severely confused looking
” employees «.
UPDATE: JUST LOOKED AT THE TIME AND WE HAVE BEEN HERE TWO HOURS. TWO HOURS. I don’t know if the employees do not know how to do their job or if these idiot customers are being taught to build a phone from scratch or what but I’m running out patience.

Let me start of by saying I was avoiding coming to this AT&T location for some time due to the reviews, but today I decided to regardless. I was immediately greeted by Zelanna and she made me feel welcomed and although I took a while to decide on what I wanted she was very patient and kind. The staff and she made my first AT&T visit an enjoyable experience and the customer service she provided was above and beyond.

Wanted to pay my bill today Sunday (7:01pm) 1÷18÷15. But they close at 7pm on Sunday’s but i still noticed quite a few people inside the store (like 8people) so i decided to try and go in, but was told that it was closed already by a female employee. I then said can I make a quick payment. The employee replied «nope sorry»
It seemed like the other people that were being helped already by other employees were still going to be there for a pretty long time. And I always take no more than 2 minutes at the machine paying my bill.
I mean at least Cox and Verizon have allowed me to make a quick payment after store hours in the past. And with customers still inside the store.
At this moment (7:28pm) I am editing my review because there is still people inside the store.
I agree with the rest of the reviews this place has bad customer service (F-​)

Recently I had considered Cox cable for internet service since Cox has 50 Mbps internet for $ 50 as opposed to AT&T’s 18 Mbps for $ 45. However, I have always been impressed with AT&T’s customer service (I have been a customer since 1988) and read many horror stories on Unilocal about Cox.
Yesterday, I received an offer in the mail to transfer my outdated AT&T DSL to Uverse. I called AT&T and spoke to Mathew and he said to transfer «there would be no fees of any kind» (no activation fee, no modem fee and no installation fee), so that sealed the deal.
Today, Jessie J. came out and installed the Uverse internet. Jessie was on time, professional and very knowledgeable about Uverse internet. I am very satisfied with the much higher speed internet and will definitely recommend to my many customers to get AT&T Uverse over Cox. It is extremely rare that I have experienced such good customer service from a very large corporation. Keep up the good work AT&T.

Alberto the manager is a real people person. Great attitude and vert knowledgeable! Wait no he is none of those! I purchased a glass screen a week ago. I went in to buy a regular cheap screen protector and the salesperson said oh we don’t sell those anymore here is a $ 35 dollar glass screen protector that will last a lifetime. Wrong it cracked the first week and I did not drop. I went in to get a refund and the salesperson said I had to speak with Alberto the manager. Alberto said no refund and that his lasted a year. He could get me a new one. He was rude when I said I did not want a new one that they break. He brought me out a different kind and said that this is all he can do. Really thanks bro! Nice customer service! He didn’t even open the door for me on the way out. They like to do that for you after they bend you over. These are the new used car salespeople in America

I went in to renew my contract and upgrade my iPhone totally excited. The salesman explained right away i needed to pay my bill, as it was 2 days past lol i asked for the manager alberto i believe… thinking he could pull some strings since i always pay my bill on the 10^th of every month (when i get paid) Mind you, I’ve been att&t for 10yrs. So bottom line. Alberto had no button on his little screen to push that could make an exception for a couple days so I can get my phone now instead in a few more days. This company doesn’t know a thing about customer service and the manager reflected it. Maybe that’s why everyone is leaving… Just like me. Audios AT&T

I do not recommend this store, or any store for AT&T in general, for getting a phone service provider.
Upon entering the store, I was greeted by someone right away who put me into the queue. This made me feel welcome, however there was no one in the store that was being helped. This made me feel that they made me wait so that I would browse the products in the store. I did not feel that this is an appropriate technique to show products by ‘forcing’ people to look around when they don’t need to wait.
We were approached by a very friendly sales representative who started to take my information. My main purpose for the visit was to (1) find out how much time was left on my contract and (2) see if I could get a lower rate for my bill. Instead, the representative took steps to try and up-​sell me and add more to my contract before she even pulled up my information. Once she did pull up my information, no effort was made to find alternatives to find a lower rate or contract.
The customer service up front is excellent, but the feeling is that product is being forced into the consumers lap. Due to this experience, I plan on leaving AT&T once my contract is up and leaving for a more reasonable monthly charge.

I’m normally really fair, and my rating is purely about having to come to the store twice to get what I needed done taken care of. Adan didn’t know what he was doing, I was out of a phone for two days because he gave me inaccurate information. Once I finally got accurate information and was able to proceed it turned out OK in the end.

Went in to renew our plan and the manager and associate that helped us were very nice, informative and helpful! Best experience at a wireless store I’ve had.

The customer service here is now HORRID here. We use to get such excellent service here, and now they all act as if they are doing me a service, and if I don’t want to do business here then I should go somewhere else. Well, so be it!
First off, learn all of your products. When a customer comes in known more then you maybe we should take our business elsewhere. How do you expect to sell anyone on a phone that would best suit the customer?
My husband was calling for an hour and no one answered. It just kept going over and over in the queue. So, we came in, and of course there was a couple of reps just «standing» around. The gal that greeted us got our name, but of course don’t tell us how long the wait it. She didn’t even know if they had the phone we were looking for on stock. Then, when it was our turn they just kept telling us they don’t have any on stock. We asked if they have another phone line, and they just kept in giving us excuses as to why no one was answering.
The music in here is way to loud to listen to a customer. I feel like I’m in the club and not trying to check out a new phone.
I train employees on customer service, and if my associates treated our customers this way I would get them some major assistance in their attitude.

There was little to no pressure, she answered all of the questions we had, and we walked away happy campers. I know cell phone stores are daunting to enter, because the expectation is they are going to make every attempt to have you walk out with something. However, after getting past the requisite special offers and deals, we were able to come in on a Saturday, talk it over, see where the rates would fall, went home to think about it, then came back the following day to work with the same person. The other employees seem to be respectful and observant of the situation (i.e., not everyone asked me «do you need help?», which personally is a bit of an annoyance). When you’re signed in with the floor «receptionist,» they’ll let you browse and come and find you… otherwise, just enjoy looking at the merchandise & come in with all your questions.
I’ll be going back to this location & asking for Allana specifically when it’s time to upgrade my iPhone.

This morning, my Android phone, purchased at an AT&T store, malfunctioned. I took it in to this location and was promptly greeted by a nice, young man in a headset. I notice a lot of people on these headsets running around, but there’s still a wait. Maybe if there were more actual customer service people rather than greeters, the wait would be less.
But, I digress.
I was met by an efficient appearing employee named Christina. I showed her my phone, explained to her what happened, and she proceeded to try and access the phone. I then expressed my disappointment in the phone and told her the problems I was encountering. NOT ONE TIME did she acknowledge the problems, my frustration, or offer a standard apology that is usually warranted in these situations, or really the fact that I was in front of her speaking. She then peeled off the back of the phone, looked at the battery, and said, «WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR PHONE? THE BATTERY IS WARPED.» Feeling as though I was being charged with a heinous crime, I pleaded the fifth and could not offer an explanation as to the battery (which was not the issue with the phone).
After her review of my supposed treatment of the phone, she informed me I would need to get in touch with the service center and that I could call them. I said, «I have no phone that works.» She said, «well, we have PLENTY of phones in this store that you could use.»
Instead of offering the quickest solution, would have been her saying I could drive to Mira Mesa, I had to converse with her further to finally learn this was an option. After several agonizing moments in Christina’s presence (I obviously had taken her away from something more important that day), I was on my way to the Mira Mesa service center. There, my phone was restored and received EXCELLENT customer service from their staff.

AT&T U-​verse is AWFUL.
The actual connection is ok, but the customer service, billing links, service is beyond sub-​standard.
They make you «link» accounts to log in online and pay bills. You do the set up and the next time, the «link» disappears. So, you have to call… hello Automated service. Do you understand English, apparently NOT– programmers AND customer service located in India. Awesome. Dialing 0 does not work. Fine, lets try the chat window.
I would like to pay my bill. Here’ s my credit card information etc…

I left a real buttery comment before about this place till i received a cold shoulder, brushed away treatment from one of the associates.
Dunno his name but he is long-​hair pony tailed guy.
Came to just pay my bill and all i had was cash. I went to the counter and ask if he can help me. He immediately pointed the kiosk (computerized) payment machine, and i was told he’ll charge me $ 5 if they’ll collect my payment instead.
That was odd and unacceptable to me. PERIOD.
I left and went back home and use my computer instead. Grrr.
