Heather Torres Studios’ photography has taken her to San Diego, Seattle, Washington, Phoenix, Jackson Missippi, Michigan, Sonora Mexico, Oaxaca Mexico and Puerto Cortes Honduras.

Heather Torres is an artistic adventurer with a passion to change the world. Her work is insightful and inspiring. Her insatiable curiosity pushes her to continually experiment and discover new ways of seeing. Moreover, her artistic eye creates work that is both visually beautiful and compelling. Heather Torres spent two years living in Oaxaca, Mexico volunteering to help impoverished communities. And she continues to look for opportunities to help and give back whenever possible. Heather Torres graduated summa cum laude in 2003 from Biola University with her degree in Art and has been doing photography ever since.

We had maternity and newborn photos done with Heather, such a great turn out. We were so glad to have them done with her— she was creative in how she took the photos with us; giving us many options in ways to capture the best shot along with making us feel comfortable and like we could be ourselves— she took her time in order to give us her best product result. Her patient and friendly spirit yet professional attitude and spectacular work made the experience enjoyable for both of us, we both highly recommend her services to everyone! Turnaround time in being able to preview the photos was quick and done so well, easy to access. We were highly pleased. You can tell Heather is a professional artist, she takes pictures like a true artist would– in fact my husband and other family members want to create enlarged prints of some of the photos to display not just as pictures but as art. Photos definitely fit for a calendar or magazine cover!!!

I got professional head shots done by Heather and I was very pleased with the ease and speed of the photo session, as well as the quality of the photos. She made me feel comfortable the whole time and the posses she chose were natural and unforced. The backdrop was in the private back patio of the studio, and I loved the look of the natural lighting on the finished product. She took her time, but had an eye for what would look best and was efficient in the execution. We sat down that day and chose the final shots and she had them edited with different finishes within the week. I get many compliments on the photos; I would definitely go back and refer friends.

Heather Torres Studios is a must for engagement, family, and fun photos. Heather is so much fun to have a photo shoot with. She is passionate about her work, she is quick on getting the pictures back to you and she adds a special touch to all of her work giving beautiful photo covers for the photos and montages. I would definitely recommend Heather to all of California. She is even willing to travel to various cities. I had my photo shoot in Manhattan Beach. The pictures were amazing. Heather was able to capture moments between my fiancé and I that just made us melt when we saw them. We put up the pictures all over our home. Thank you Heather. We cannot wait to call you back when we get pregnant and the baby bump shows :-)

Wow! What an amazing experience my family had in hiring Heather Fuqua to take our family photos. Heather was very professional, creative, patient, & comfortable working with my family of four. We immediately felt at ease and were able to relax and smile naturally. When we received our photo link & were able to see all the photos she took, we were blown away! She truly captured everyone in the family beautifully. I recommend Heather highly to anyone looking for a photographer. Her pictures are warm, crisp, artistic & modern at the same time. Heather did an event for our Salon this last weekend and captured every moment perfectly! I never would have thought that someone could get a perfect shot of another person cutting hair, but Heather did. Not only is she professional, she’s kind, and really talented. We were hosting a benefit, it was crowded and crazy, but Heather managed to get in there and do the job without being in the way. I highly recommend Heather Fuqua photography!
