Heiser Joel M, MD

I was referred to Dr. Heiser when I injured my foot on the job. He did not even look at my foot on the first visit, the nurse did. All he asked me was how much time off I wanted. Didn’t x-​ray it until second visit. His attitude was like I was wasting his time with my injury. I saw him a total of four times and he did absolutely nothing to help me. His tone was very condescending. I complained about pain and swelling in my foot and numdness in my toes. He said «we all live with some sort of pain.» and basically I should just suck it up. He also said the numbing in my toes sounds like possible nerve damage, but there was nothing he could do about that. Didn’t order an MRI or refer me to a doctor that could possibly help me. I did get another doctor who actually treated my foot and ordered the tests I needed to find out what was wrong. Won’t go into detail about that, but the only thing Dr. Heiser managed to do was extend the pain I was in for two whole months.
