Cheap food, BEST carne street tacos, pizza slices are HUGE! If you are on a lunch break call it in and pick up orders can take time. There are always some characters around Marvins due to the area so there can be some entertainment waiting for your food haha

I love this place. Ive been going here for some years now. The crazy thing is they make good mexican food and good pizza. In the past they used to have a penny saver deal for burritos and pizza for delivery. On the weekends they have 1.15 street tacos that are suuuppperr good. There guacamole is pretty good its not that water avocado stuff that quick service mexican restaurants give you these days On the path to Unilocal gold

This pizza was bad. I had high hopes after reading the Unilocal reviews. But truthfully, this place should never make another pizza ever again. Maybe their Mexican food is better. I do t know.

Excellent service and the meat lovers pizza was awesome. Two 12 inch pizzas and one 16 inch pizza, garlic bread, a rice bowl and drinks, all for a little over 30 bucks! Can’t beat that!

We love this place, locals flock here for really good Mexican food, pizza & sandwiches! They also have a meat market and liquor store– a one stop shop!

It’s really hit or miss! One night, you’ll have one of the best pizzas you’ve ever had. And then the next night, they’ll produce total garbage. The price is fair, but it’s always a gamble.

Perhaps Marvin just wasn’t feeling it this day. Maybe Marvin has a severe toothache and can’t focus on making pizza and carne asada. Or perhaps Marvin’s food is simply overrated. People always ask tell me: You should try the mexican food outside of Tucson. And then I do and I immediately regret listening to their advice. For starters, this place is a complete and utter dive. Good service(the girl at the register was one of the restaurant’s only redeeming qualities), below average food. The carne asada was poorly cut, dry and underseasoned. The rice was… ugh nevermind. My daughter’s pizza looked like someone flaked bits of string cheese on dough and microwaved it. It was poor. Probably won’t ever come back.

All of the food looked good, but I was coming here for some variety. From the reviews, I wanted to try their tacos, maybe half a sandwitch and a couple of slices of pie. First of all, this place is a WHOLEPIE or nothing format. That being said, they did not have anything but pizzas available. I came at 9:00PM on a Monday. That limited availability made me change my choice, wish I would have known while I was Unilocaling it that they do not always have all of the varieties of food. Oh well.

Ordered a 12″ mozzarella cheese pizza today for delivery from Marvin’s. Added on bacon, jalapeño, chicken, avocado and it was amazing! Ordered a mini shrimp taco as well and my total came out to about $ 21.00…not too bad! The lady over the phone told me the delivery would take about 40 mins to an hour and they made it here in about 45 min! Delivery man was very friendly as well. I’ll definitely be ordering for delivery or going to dine in again.

First of all, the food is very good, especially for the VERY reasonable prices. Great stop for any family with kids. The servings are large AND tasty. I gave it 4 stars only because it offers outdoor patio seating only — so, on a cold evening, be sure to bring a coat. Also: No restroom is available; only next door, at the adjoing corner market. You need to ask for the key to the«out-house». Yet, overall, the service is good and we will definitely be back for more.

One of the few places I know where you can get Pizza, Mexican and Subs in the same place! I have been here more then a handful of times and like it every time! I get the Adobada con Piña in a California Burrito!

You have to order the 28″ Giant pizza. It is GIANT! Excellent for parties and the kids go nuts over the size of each slice. The pizza is pretty good, not exceptional or anything but definitely good for the money and much better than any of the other local pizza chains. On this sized pizza the toppings were very sparse. Grab a coupon in the Pennysaver and the pizza is only $ 19! What a great deal.

We have had Marvin’s cater all of our celebrations and I would never go elsewhere. We always order the barbacoa, rice, beans and salsa. Not only is it delicious, it is very affordable and easy to serve. Also, try the baked potato pizza. Not on the menu. Yummy.

Pizza 100x better than Little Caesar’s for the same price? This place is a college student’s dream! Better quality of ingredients, always so delicious and always affordable. Marvin’s pizza is so delicious, as is their Mexican food! Friendly staff, great food, and great service that keeps me coming back.

I just had Marvin’s cater my daughters high school graduation party this past weekend! We got carne, pollo, and rice and beans with all the fixings! The food was so good! Everyone loved it even my most discriminating Mexican food snob friends! The chicken was tender and seasoned nicely. The beans and rice were flavorful and authentic and the carne was melt in your mouth delicious! I really liked the corn tortillas! I don’t know where they get them or if they make them but they are thick and soft not dry and hard like so many others! Thank you Marvin’s for some wonderful food!

Great Chorizo and Jalapeño Pizza, really Mexican authentic. Not to talk about their street tacos are best also… Just a good place to feel like your in Tijuas…

He says: Great! … if you skip the pizza. Basically, Marvin’s has two things going on: a great taqueria and a so-so pizza joint. The Pizza — The pizza is okay. The sauce is actually pretty good, but the cheese just… doesn’t taste like pizza cheese should. It’s offputting. Toppings were okay(had mushrooms and ham). The Mexican — Muy excellente. Their tacos are delicious and affordable, the best in the area. They’re comparable in quality to Taco Bar in San Marcos, to give a point of comparison. Mavin’s really excels at their meat tacos: carne asada, el pastor, carnitas, etc. You can’t go wrong with any of them. Their salsas are also excellent. Their fish and shrimp tacos are also quite tasty, but I strongly prefer the meat ones. With that said, they whip up a mean shrimp quesadilla with a home-made diavolo sauce. Great little place, plus they deliver! She says: My favorite Mexican in town. All of the tacos are delicious, authentic, and irresistible — meat tacos are the best, and they give you the right balance of meat and fixings. The quesadilla, especially if you get guacamole/avocado inside, is satisfying, flavorful, and comforting. The enchilada is also decent, but we usually prefer tacos and quesadillas over other types of dishes. Salsas are pretty good. I would say the combo(which adds rice and beans on the side to a regular dish) is a little on the expensive side. Although I like the rice and beans okay, you don’t get that much of them in a combo, so I find it hard to justify getting a combo. We usually get the food delivered, but when I went to Marvin’s myself to order take-out, the guys there were super-friendly. They seemed to take pride in their food, which was nice to see. Mmmmmm Marvin’s.

OHMYGOD the street al pastor tacos are delish. Moist spicy pork! The five dollar pizzas are a good deal too. The people working there are so friendly! I used to live at the(horrific) mariposa apartments nearby, and I use to order from these guys all the time! You have to order the carne asada fries. Best carne asada fries I have ever tried! They add all the toppings and lot’s of it! Pico de gallo, jalapenos, cheese, sour cream. I’m dreaming of this stuff. Good prices too. They serve well!
