I was driving and needed gas, saw this place and noticed they were charging $ 3.979 for regular. Another gas station a block away was charging $ 1.799 a gallon! Stay away!

You know everyone is trying to go about their day expecting businesses to be reasonable and respectful. Why are you going to price your gas at 3 – 4 times the market average?!
I hope your business closes immediately and hope that Santa brings you coal for the rest of your life.

I am new to the area and made a big mistake yesterday. I pulled into this gas station assuming all stations in the area were about the same price! My mistake, I later looked at my receipt and realized I had paid $ 3.98/gal and everywhere else is about$ 1.98/gal !!! OMG! I called the station and was informed «they have to charge that because of high taxes. The Indian stations don’t pay the same taxes»! What? Double the price! I will never make this mistake again! But why are businesses allowed to do this???

Wow… I just pulled into lukoil because I was about to run out of gas and it was the first place on my way. I got $ 20 and only realized after he started filling the tank that gas was $ 4 a gallon. It’s $ 1.99 across the street! My $ 20 got me a quarter tank which means it would have cost $ 80 to fill up my chevy Cruz. Super pissed. Guess I should have paid more attention but I never expected it to be more than just a few cents difference from anywhere else around.

I can’t speak for certainty but in most cases like this, the station owner is getting screwed by the gas supplier so they decide they will not sell gas. This usually happens when the bulk of the money made at the station is through the repair shop, and the station owner doesn’t rely on selling gas to make money. Actual gas could currently cost about $ 1.25 at wholesale level but when it gets delivered, the gas station owners could be charged $ 1.60, give or take so the wholesalers make the money and the stations make very little.

What can I say, it’s a gas station. I only bought gas here once. It was more expensive than just down the road. I know the market is competitive, so I can’t imagine how they get repeat business, at least locally. The prices seemed a little out of whack. I am at a loss for words.

Made a big mistake today and pulled in here to get gas. From out of town and actually jumped out to try to pump, lol. I didn’t realize until after I left that I paid .60 more a gallon than the place right down the street. Yes, you read that right. This guy was charging 3.98 while the place next door was going for 3.34. Ridiculous. AND this guy is the rudest attendant I’ve ever experienced. Never go here.

What IS it about Lukoil gas stations, and this one particularly, that charge so much? This place does seem to be on average 50 cents higher that other gas stations within driving range. Unless you’re running on fumes and find yourself passing by, just keep on driving.

Things that make you go hmmmmm… (queue up C+C Music Factory)
This place is a mystery to me. As far as purchasing gasoline, this is consistently the MOST EXPENSIVE gas station that I have ever seen in southern New Jersey. We are talking on average about .50 cents more per gallon! Today, 05/​28/​2012, they were selling for around $ 3.98 per gallon while the gas station down the road (100 feet or so) was selling gas for $ 3.45. Is this place just a Russian mob front? Do they make money off of service/​repairs instead?
Strange thing is, I always see someone buying gas from this place… I don’t get it. What is making someone choose this place? It’s not like this is the only gas station in the area.
