I would like to start off by saying that Tony the dealer is a great guy, very honest which is very rare in the car business. I will def go back to him when I’m ready to purchase new car. Their service dept is horrible, I had recall on accord oil piston, took it to get fixed since oil was burning quickly, they did oil change then added more oil when I returned to make it appear that there was no issue, they refused to pass my inspection based on window tints but did it before and tried to charge over $ 100 to plug in machine to see why engine light was turned off but regular mechanic did that for free, they are money hungry liars, will never return for service

Although I did not end up getting my car through them, my experience there was very pleasant. I got to test drive the car I wanted, and no one was pushy at all. Car dealers are usually just trying to get you in anyway they can and this was not like that. If they had given me a better price for my trade in I would have went through them. This review is simply because I thought they were extremely nice and professional.

Terrible! Took 3 hours to put the wrong part on my car. Then additional time to get the right part. Service advisor didn’t really answer questions and wasn’t friendly. Every question I asked, he would barely answer them. He would just say, «oh that’s this.» I felt like I was pulling to get any sort of information from the guy. I know very little about cars, so please explain it to me so I know. I don’t think he smiled once. If you’re going to be in car sales and service, you have to be at least a little bit friendly. The only upside were the comfortable chairs and the interior was nice. I was forced to go to this dealership because of my roadside assistance. I’m going to switch to AAA and make sure I go to a place that is more knowledgeable, friendlier, and won’t rob my pocket book.

I believe that circus animals are treated better than customers are at this dealership. Luisa is an awful, rude, mean person who treats her loyal customers like garbage.

I leased a Honda Civic from this location about a year ago. It was a great experience so when it came to get an oil change and inspection, I decided to try to service center. (Because I only drive a few miles a day, it was a year into my lease when I had my first oil change). I showed up a few minutes before my appointment and was greeted by a friendly advisor (I think that’s what they call them). He quickly got my checked in, told me it would be 30 – 45 minutes and walked me to the waiting room. 20 minutes later he was done. He even checked my tires (the tire light was on) and told me they were fine and showed me how to turn the light off. Since I have a service contract that comes with the lease (which I forgot I had) there was no charge for any of it. All around good experience

«Easiest and Most Pleasant Car Buying Experience Ever»
I had gone to a different local dealership and gotten a great price, which I was told was guaranteed and included all dealer fees but then they started adding fees. I called Babylon and they not only met the price, they beat it (over the phone!). I bought the car that day. From start to finish everyone I dealt with was professional, honest and pleasant. A great experience.

Went in to see a pre-​owned car that was advertised on the website, surprise, surprise the car was not available. Then looked at a new car that the dealership wanted $ 500 over the MSRP even though Tru Car Value selling price for this area and other dealership selling over $ 300 below. DIdn’t get a good feeling about this dealership won’t be buying from them or going back.

I’m reviewing Honda Sales & Service. I’m shocked to read such bad reviews for this place since my experience was and still is amazing with them. I bought my brand new Honda civic in June, and it has been everything the sales woman said it would be and more. My biggest concern about buying the civic after years of having trucks was its ability to handle in the snow. In the wake of the recent snowstorms this car has been handling amazingly and I couldn’t be happier. The sales woman was absolutely correct about how great this car is. The sales and financing staff was great and went above and beyond to get me the best deal for my trade in, which absolutely blew me away with how well they did. Then recently, when I made a trip back to the sales dept. to drop a friend off who also bought a civic, the same sales woman knew exactly who I was and greeted me with a wonderful hug and follow up questions about my experiences with the car.
The service dept. is also especially wonderful. I’ve brought the car in for routine maintenance and the staff is always so friendly, inviting, and I have yet to have to wait to be seen. The waiting room area is state-​of-​the-​art and comfortable, and the service staff is knowledgeable and informative, and I could tell they were trying to save me money.
Again, I’m super shocked to hear such complaints about poor experiences with Babylon Honda. I’m telling everyone I know who’s in the market for a car to go there.

This a review for babylon honda service department… I bought a 2009 honda civic si from them it’s a great car has great mileage for the year but let the buyer beware! As soon as you leave their showroom they do not care about anything you have to say or anything that happens to the car, I had the car for about 10,000 miles and the clutch is going bad… I got a quote from a different honda for 1800 $ plus tax… this is rediculous I have to call babylon maybe they can help me right? Wrong they quoted me at 1700 $ plus tax saying there’s nothing they can do it’s a wearable item… since I’ve owned the car within 10k miles I had to replace the brakes clutch tires and exhaust… that’s a lot for 10,000 miles THEY WONT HELP YOU don’t buy from them !!! Nardy honda of smithtown is much better on the service end highly suggest going there instead

This is a review of an experience shopping for a pre-​owned CR-​V.
I arrived at the dealership on a Monday afternoon looking at a few 2011 CR-V’s. The one I settled on was red with 36,000 miles on it, and it was listed at $ 18,000. I was initially offered $ 5,000 for my trade in, but when I let them know that I had secured an offer of $ 8,000 for my trade in from Huntington Honda, and that Huntington was offering a CR-​V with fewer miles for $ 17,500, The manager came over and asked if he would match the price would we be in business, very forward, but not quite to the point of being pushy. I told him that my wife would have to come by to check out the car, but I believe we would be in business at that price point. The wife and I decided to wait and shop around a little bit
Less than a week later, the price on that same CR-​V drops to $ 16,000 on
. I called about coming back and closing the deal, and suddenly my trade in also lost $ 1,000 in value. It is these types of shady dealings that make it difficult to trust used car salesmen.
Do yourselves a favor and visit any of the many quality Honda Dealerships on Long Island, just skip Babylon Honda.

This review is for the service department. I received a recall card for my vehicle so contacted Babylon Honda which is the closest dealership to my home. What a mistake. I wasted 30 minutes of my time just trying to schedule the appointment and getting someone on the phone who knew what was going on. «Felix» told me he had no idea why my vehicle was recalled and to call back? Another member just scheduled the appointment, but didn’t care that I tried calling and the phone just rang and rang and nobody picked up and that Felix had no idea what I was talking about. If this wasn’t the closest dealership, I would go someplace else.

I was told by the manager over the phone that yes they have a customer loyalty program. I have brought 2 new Hondas from here so I was interested. When I arrived I was told they do not have a customer loyalty program and I was treated as if I never brought a new car from there before. Don’t waste your time or money in this dealership!

This review is for the service department. When I moved into Babylon Village years ago I was a bit hesitant to have my car serviced here since there weren’t many reviews available. This was back in 2009.
From my first experience until today I’ve been vary happy with my decision to give them a try. I’ve been to other dealerships and service places where each time you go there is always something extra to be done. Here I’ve never has that experience. Only additional service was for the mileage milestones which really should come as no surprise to anyone. Even if I was reluctant to do the recommended service due to bad timing, they were always willing to work with me in helping to guide what should be done now and then take care of the rest the next time.
Times where something needed to be fixed or checked out and I mentally prepared myself for a big bill, they were able to address it without it being as extensive as I thought. For example today I had then check out a couple of issues I was having and reported back there is no issue on one thing and the other or something a minor/​less costly fix would take care of what could have been a pricy bill. The integrity they demonstrate means a lot to me. Especially when other places often try to take advantage.
About a year and a half ago I relocated to NJ for a job but when I come back home to visit family and friends I make a point to visit my hometown dealership. Chris M. In particular has always been personable, friendly, diligent and honest. I will continue to come here when I can despite the distance. Thank you Babylon Honda for making a dreaded task something I actually don’t mind.

I would give a lesser rating if able. My wife went in to talk about a CRV 2011, back in 2011, worked out a payment and thought everything was set, they needed a day to get the color she wanted, which was fine so they had her put the first payment down. Next day they told her «oh your payment is double» when she questioned the sales rep saying she signed a contract for a monthly price he laughed said sorry and there was nothing he could do. She asked for her money back and it was a problem. Took me to go there after a week of her calling and being transfered to vm everyday to get her money back. She was done with Honda, until we went to Atlantic Honda, explained what happend here to David. He was able to put her in the same car for the price she wanted. Loved Atlantic Honda so much I got my 2012 Civic from them. Don’t let Babylon Honda destroy your faith in the Honda product, head over to Atlantic Honda on Sunrise and talk to David.

Really, don’t waste your time. I wanted to trade in my jeep wrangler and lease a pilot. I gave the sales rep all the info etc… he went to see the manager and he came back with a price… first it was the highest of all the dealerships I visited. Second, when I asked him the break down of the payment, all the numbers were higher than my previous quotes, so then I proceeded to ask him, what was I getting the price if the car for… he answered «sticker». I said sticker??? It’s a pilot, not an exotic car? He said that’s what my manager said. Well there you have it, they want you to pay sticker for a pilot? Yea right… goodluck selling cars!

Don’t waste your time. I’m going through a difficult time and need to get out of my current lease and into a new one ASAP. I spoke to one person over the phone who was very down to earth and friendly, he made no promises, but made me feel comfortable enough to come in to meet. Upon arrival and introductions he handed me off to someone who had a completely different story and wouldn’t budge at all to help me out, when I was committed to getting into another Honda lease. They wouldn’t believe how much I was paying in my current lease (even though I had the documentation) and told me I could never pay that price again — mind you, I only got into my car in October of 2011! They thought they were doing me a favor by taking my current lease off of my hands, but wouldn’t at all budge in helping me get into a new lease with a comparable payment — when I outright said I’d be willing to pay a bit more than I was. I did my research, I knew what I was looking for and what I was capable of doing and got NO help from Babylon Honda what so ever.

Don’t waste your time at Babylon Honda.
I test drove 3 cars, and that part went fine, a salesman (Bill) came right out to assist us within 2 minutes. Bill was very friendly and nice without being overbearing. It was when I got in the chair to start talking numbers that things took a bad turn.
I had done my research and knew the True Market Value (via
) for that particular year, make, and model (a 2010 Nissan Versa) and that was the number I was planning on negotiating with. The salesman’s opening number was $ 4,000 above that, and that was after telling me it was the internet sale price. I told him about the edmunds TMV, he didn’t believe me and said he didn’t know where I could find a car that cheap. I used my smartphone and showed him. The salesman at the next desk butted in (I don’t remember his name, mid 40s, military hairstyle, about 5’8′) and went on his computer and told me that the price I was quoting as the True Market Value was actually the Trade-​in value and said I was wrong. But I knew what I was right, I had spent many hours over many days researching. He told me to use his computer and show him what I was talking about. I did and saw that he was using a different state’s zip code in the pull-​down menu. I pulled up the correct screen and proved to him that not only was my number correct for the TMV, but the trade-​in value was $ 2,000 less than that number, proving him wrong on both counts. Bill was completely silent during this time. I don’t know if the two saleman were doing some sort of good cop/​bad cop routine but I thought if Bill had kept control, we might have had a deal.
Unfortunately, Bill did not even come back with a second offer or attempt to negotiate on the price at all. He just let the other salesman keep looking through different websites and value books to try and prove me wrong, only to show again and again that I was right. The numbers don’t lie. I don’t know if I bruised their egos and that’s why they wouldn’t make a second offer or what, but I ended up walking out without the car. A woman from their customer service department left me a voicemail an hour after I left asking what they needed to do to get me to come back and be a customer. Maybe they should think about that BEFORE they insist a well-​informed customer is wrong and let them walk out the door.

update 12 18. spoke to john the service mgr. he was very concerned and listened to my issues. wasnt happy this happened. promised it woudl be corrected and it was. well at least one issue. the other issue i handled myself. he was very apologetic and stated he wanted my business. treated me very well and fixed it at no charge and gave me 2 gift certs for my trouble. class act. like i said previously, they pride themselves on customer care and they proved it. my advice remains though — ask questions, go over your findings and make sure they do as they say. But i have to commend them for making things right.
