Judge Baylor House

We stayed here one night for the OU vs. Baylor football game. It’s a cute little B&B just a stone’s throw from campus. Each room has it’s own parking space, so parking wasn’t an issue. I want to say there are 4 or 5 rooms to rent here, and one is it’s own garage apartment.
We stayed in Alan’s room, which is a room on the first floor with a queen sized bed and private bathroom. The décor is quaint and well-​suited for a B&B. Alan’s room has it’s own entrance through a private patio, which was nice. We didn’t have to disturb anyone coming in late after the game. The bathroom was a 2 piece, small with just a shower and a toilet, and the sink is in an antique buffet piece of furniture in the bedroom itself. Just fine for my husband and I.
We appreciated the fridge and microwave in our room, as well as coffee maker.
Breakfast was a bit early for our taste, 8:30AM on Sunday, but I can understand that they need to set the time to please a variety of guests. Our breakfast consisted of yogurt served in a stemmed dessert-​type glass followed by the main breakfast of fritatta, bacon, cantelope, and a blueberry muffin. Coffee and orange juice, of course. Conversation among other guests was easy and comfortable. We stayed for an hour chatting with other couples and families.
Since this is a bed and breakfast, you can hear people moving around in their rooms and talking in the main areas (I’m sure this is because we were near these areas). It didn’t really bother us, but if you’re a light sleeper and don’t plan to get up for breakfast, you might be woken a bit early.
